Stay was great.. Rooms are spacious clean and quiet..house keeping department gave their best esp Hariharan.. He made sure room was spic n span until our stay.. On whole great experience

Fantastic ambience

Had an excellent stay at The Westin Chennai Velachery. The hospitality was truly top-notch, and a special mention to Vaishnavi for her fantastic service and warm support throughout the stay. She made the experience even more memorable. Would definitely love to come back again!

Thank you to everyone in the hospitality staff for making our stay peaceful and comfortable.

We absolutely enjoyed all our meals at the property’s “Seasonal Tastes” restaurant. There was always a great variety of dishes (especially during the dinner buffet), and the food was consistently good - simple, tasty, hygienic, and comforting in the best way possible.

We especially loved having "Appam with coconut milk" during breakfast. A special thanks to Mr. Kamal for always serving us with a big smile. We truly appreciated your kindness and service. Thank you, sir!

Thank you to Mr. Sambhu and Mr. Ariful for introducing us to some really wonderful Bengali dishes (and also the sukku coffee). :)

Thank you to Ms. Megha, Ms. Manisha, Mr. Hrudananda, Mr. Hossain, and Mr. Gaurav for always being so helpful and welcoming.

We had our anniversary dinner at westin tonight. After a fabulous dinner we were getting ready to take pictures. Mr. Sheroj approached us and cordially took many pictures. This made the experience very memorable for us. Thank you westin for the awesome experience

Everything was good

Our family had lunch buffet from here . We were attended by Shehnoj and Abhishek .Food was great and good hospitality.

We had a wonderful lunch buffet, Food taste is excellent, ambience is also pretty good. Service is awesome, especially Manisha& Megha and the host Shehroj . Kids have a wonderful time

Worth every penny paid for food and the ambience we experienced❣️

From the time you arrive you are met with smiling faces and a very helpful staff. Mallikarjun, Raja and Vennis are super helpful and made us feel very welcomed and safe, we loved these guys and will miss them.
The food (selection and tastiness) from chef Karthik is amazing! His staff are equally amazing - Sambhu, Manisha and many, many more are always there to make sure you have the best experience every meal. They encouraged us to try different things and we are so glad they did, there was not one thing we did not like. We looked forward to breakfast, lunch and dinner every night.
The front desk staff (too many to mention) are equally as awesome! The hotel is very clean and safe. The rooms are very comfortable and a great value. The location and atmosphere was great, we had the best time during our visit.

House keeping service is excellent.room cleaning is good.Mr.sunjay and miss Rogitha is very helpful

Vaishnavi (Guest Relations)
Excellent in customer service. Right from check-in (where she worked with the front desk for the early check-in) to allowing us lounge access (we requested this since although I am a Platinum Elite member, the booking was on my wife's name), she was very supportive for us. She would consistently check with us if we needed any support during our stay. We were very impressed with her service. Thank you Vaishnavi, wish you continued success.

Manimaran (F&B)
Great conversations, very prompt support for whatever we needed. I can see that the restaurant is in safe hands with Manimaran at the helm of F&B for it. Thank you for the lovely conversations and all your great support all through our stay. Wish you continued success.

Khushboo (Guest Relations)
She went above and beyond to give us an early check-in (since we had a very early flight and were checking in with family).

Chef Karthik (Chef Group)
Took care of our food requests in the lounge as well as during breakfast. Very prompt and good conversations.

A special shout-out to your Exec Chef (Mr. Saravanan). We couldn't interact with him in the current trip, but interacted the last time we were here. He had suggested the marmalades (jams sorts) that were kept during breakfast. We tried them this time around and they were simply amazing. Very less sugar, more of fruit, more fresh and were simply a treat to have. Thanks to Mr. Manimaran for taking the efforts and preparing the multiple bread toasts with the different marmalde options.
Definitely look forward to this in our future trips too.

I wasn't able to capture their names, but both the ladies who supported us during our stay were very prompt and courteous. Thank you to both of them

Food - 12/10
I can confidently say that this is by far one of the best Marriott properties in terms of food. Both, during breakfast and in the lounge, we had lovely food all throughout. The basics were all right, and every food item we had were very tasty (which is not the case in most other properties).

Guest Relations - 11/10
Both Vaishnavi and Khushboo were amazing in providing the highest customer experience for us. I could see that the Guest Relations team is doing a great job, this department is pretty much sorted within Westin Velachery.

Front Desk - 9/10
Somehow no one from the Front Desk (except for Guest Relations team) made an impact on us during our stay. I could also sense that they were very hesitant to commit to certain things (and relied on go-ahead from Customer relations). Maybe there could be some leeway given to the front desk team to ensure customer satisfaction/experience.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and can’t wait to be back soon !

The hotel is located in a very quiet area. During my stay, I never heard any noise such as honking. The room and facility were clean, new, nice and comfortable. The room was spacious, too. A/C was working well. MKC restaurant was superb. Laundry service is same day and reliable. Hotel's taxi service was comfortable as well.
I was pretty happy about the hotel but if I may ask for more, I would care for the following points:
- Having a small grocery shop in the hotel would have been nice.
- Having non-Indian restaurant, Chinese or Western, would have been nice. I got tired of spices.
- For early check-in, it would have been nice to get a waiver of half-day charges, since I was a member.

Overall, I was happy with the stay and I would come back when I visit Chennai next time.

Very good checkin experience in hotel service. Good environment . Warmly welcomed . Very clean room specially mentioned to Aditya from housekeeping for taking care of my room.

Beachside, calm & green, low noise, and still close to IT hub. Spacious, clean, and well-maintained.Room service is reliable and fairly quick.Very helpful housekeeping staff Ms Jasmine and veebha.

Stayed at the Westin Chennai Velachery for a week for work and had a very enjoyable stay!

The hotel is very nice and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. While it was something I hadn't experienced before in hotels, I appreciated the extra security on site with the front gate and guards checking the vehicles and the metal detector/bag scanner on the way in the front doors. We hired the hotels cars and drivers and had a great afternoon with a spontaneous tour around Chennai and were very thankful that we weren't driving ourselves! The hotel is a very short walk/tuktuk ride from the very large Pheonix Marketcity mall as well and while I didn't visit any of them, there also seemed to be a lot of stores and restaurants on the main street around the corner.

The room was modern and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping respected when the Do Not Disturb was activated but left the card to refill whatever I needed and kept me stocked with bottled water when I asked!

The buffet breakfast was fantastic and I looked forward to it every morning! There was always something new to try and there were lots of different stations, the servers were so attentive and kind and explained dishes that I wasn't familiar with. The filter coffee is delicious and the servers would always get me one in a to-go cup for when I left for the day.

I ate at both the Sunset Grill and Madras Kitchen Company on site and both were very good. Sunset Grill had a bit of a struggle with the flow of dishes as it seemed like their kitchen was understaffed, but the food was tasty when it arrived (even if some appetizers arrived after the main courses!). Madras Kitchen Company had some very inventive and unique dishes that were very enjoyable!

I also had my first reflexology treatment at the spa that was wonderful. The pool by the spa was lovely as well and a nice reprieve from the heat!

We stayed over Valentine's Day weekend and the hotel was hosting a dinner and party that went very late into the morning and was very loud for lower floors and those that overlooked the pool. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to either end those events a little earlier than 3-4am or at least turn the bass down at the party so rooms weren't being rattled with the loud thudding. After a very long travel day, it made it hard to sleep but I don't think this is a regular occurrence anyway and hopefully reserved just for special occasions.

Thank you Westin Chennai Velachery! I hope to be back one day and am looking forward to another visit to the breakfast buffet and lots of filter coffees!
