The Westin Chennai Velachery

We booked two nights at the Westin Velacherry and ended up staying four. That tells you everything you need to know.

Our kids fell ill during the trip, and the hotel team stepped up in a way that genuinely moved us. Khusboo (manager) took personal care of us from the moment things got difficult. Sheroj was our main contact throughout and was phenomenal — always available, always one step ahead.

The lounge team (Karthik, Keba, and Tanya) made every visit feel like catching up with friends, not just hotel staff doing their job. Anand and Venis at the concierge sorted everything we needed without hesitation.

We were upgraded to a suite, which the kids absolutely loved, especially the bathtub. The food was consistently excellent across the board.

If you're visiting Chennai and want a hotel that treats you like family when it matters most, this is it. We'll be back.

I had an amazing experience with Beth. She is a great masseuse and I felt so relived. Must try in Chennai.

Westin is my go to hotel whenever I am in Chennai. Good location with shopping nall nearby if I need something; Rooms are well designed with natural lighting and good space; the staff from front desk to restaurant team, laundry and housekeeping are exceptional in service, always making sure that I have a comfortable stay. The housekeeping team (Prabha and Kliptan) will always leave a towel shaped animal (elephant, orang utans, turtle, swan) in the room whuch brings me a smile always. The laundry team is also good, they mended my clothes when I needed emergency support. The F&B team (chef Karthik, servers Manisha and many others) make the dining experience a joyful one with good selection of cuisines, warm conversations where it feels like home away from home

Good to be back and this is one hotel that I enjoyed. I am glad to see Ms Manisha who can speak mandarin!! She is really welcoming and attentive. Same to Mr Abhisekh who also serve us in the restaurant. Coming back to us checking our status.
The lounge staffs are also wonderful with Chef Karthik, Mr Shehroj and Ms Meba. They are very caring and offer different options for us to consider. Ms Meba is good with option of drinks. Not forgetting Mr Prince at the concierge.. he is very cheerful and friendly.

Amazing location with spacious rooms with the smooth checking process by kushi she came out of reception to gove me room key which felt very nice Also shehroj served us welcome drink to everyone with pleasant smile and escorted to the room with hotel details which was informative too . We would definitely recommend this hotel for good and comfortable stay

It was overall a great experience. I was assisted by Aditya and deepak from housekeeping who made sure my comfort was their greatest priority.They also made sure to make a beautiful towel art for me and my husband. Hoping to come back again!!!

Stay was great.. Rooms are spacious clean and quiet..house keeping department gave their best esp Hariharan.. He made sure room was spic n span until our stay.. On whole great experience

Had an excellent stay at The Westin Chennai Velachery. The hospitality was truly top-notch, and a special mention to Vaishnavi for her fantastic service and warm support throughout the stay. She made the experience even more memorable. Would definitely love to come back again!

We absolutely enjoyed all our meals at the property’s “Seasonal Tastes” restaurant. There was always a great variety of dishes (especially during the dinner buffet), and the food was consistently good - simple, tasty, hygienic, and comforting in the best way possible.

We especially loved having "Appam with coconut milk" during breakfast. A special thanks to Mr. Kamal for always serving us with a big smile. We truly appreciated your kindness and service. Thank you, sir!

Thank you to Mr. Sambhu and Mr. Ariful for introducing us to some really wonderful Bengali dishes (and also the sukku coffee). :)

We had our anniversary dinner at westin tonight. After a fabulous dinner we were getting ready to take pictures. Mr. Sheroj approached us and cordially took many pictures. This made the experience very memorable for us. Thank you westin for the awesome experience
