No me gustó.
The property is ideally located in the city center, within walking distance of numerous restaurants and transportation options.
Due to its proximity to the train line, which results in frequent noise from passing trains.
O hotel é novo e bem cuidado
Ok breakfast
An overpriced hotel not even close to be 4 stars. Dirty, sticky floor in our room. There are plenty of similar establishments for half a price. We did not find this hotel nice at all.
The river view room was amazing!! To fall asleep to the sound of the rushing river every night was magical.
I wish they had coffee in the room but they offered teas and a welcome drink and had coffee on the breakfast buffet so it wasn't a problem.
Extremely disappointing stay. We had specifically booked and paid upfront before check-in for a premium river view room with an extra-large bed, only to be placed in Room 107, which smelt strongly of damp and mould the moment we walked in. There was already an atomiser running in the room, which gave the impression management were aware of the issue and attempting to mask the smell rather than resolve it. Visible mould around the bathroom sealant only reinforced the concern.
We raised this immediately with reception. The receptionist was lovely and genuinely tried to help, even offering to have the room cleaned, but this was clearly not a cleaning issue — no amount of cleaning was going to resolve such a strong damp/mould smell. He said he would raise it with management, yet management did absolutely nothing: no room move, no meaningful response, no acknowledgement and no goodwill gesture despite charging premium prices.
Having since read other reviews mentioning the same smell issue, this appears to be an ongoing problem management are aware of but continue to ignore. Once they have your money upfront, customer care seems to disappear. We were not looking for compensation, simply the clean, fresh room we had paid for.
La sosire la hotel ni s-a spus ca nu mai are camera noastră disponibilă ptr ca ar fi o persoană bolnavă in camera noastră și ne.a trimis in alt hotel deși noi am plătit ptr autencitatea hotelului Casa del Sol.Foarte dezamăgitor !!!
Location
The breakfast music was quite depressing, especially considering the region, the audience, and the reason for the visit. I think it could be more uplifting.
Beautiful views from the room facing the Urubamba river. Well located to the train station and bus stop.
The breakfast was bit plain and limited compared to what one would expect from the hotel’s price range. For instance, they had just run out of avocados, and when we asked for more, they said it was not possible as they had none left. Having paid extra for breakfast, this was disappointing. The smell of breakfast from the first floor also travelled upward, and we could smell it on the fourth floor, which was a bit unpleasant. As such, I have to say that, although one might expect these prices, the hotel is still quite overpriced.
