Charmantes Hotel mit tollem Personal.
Pros:

Gute Lage in der Altstadt, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel

Cons:

Leider sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig und man hört jedes Gespräch auf dem Flur bzw. Abends oder Nachts die Rückkehr anderer Gäste

Een uniek pand met een unieke sfeer! Het oudste hotel van Phuket. Écht prachtig.
Het personeel is enorm vriendelijk, het bed en de douche heerlijk. De locatie is perfect! Een absolute aanrader. Net zoals het ontbijt bij Café Mem!

Great location!
Pros:

Great location and lovely property. This boutique hotel is within walking distance to everything. Lot of instagram worthy corners. Very attentive staff. Safe.

Cons:

Could smell the sewerage upon entering the room. So keep the air conditioning on.

A slice of cosy history
Pros:

The setting is beautiful. Also a nice touch to have traditional snacks at the front for guests to sample. The sound proofing of the rooms is good. Despite being open towards the street, you will not hear traffic.

I also liked how they provided a proper hair dryer (not dinky little travel ones or wall mounted ones that many hostels do that can't do a proper job of drying the hair).

Cons:

I got the first room on the ground floor and it felt squeezed as it s a corner room and needing to walk past the pretty enthusiastic water fountain.. Suggested to them to trim the plants fronting the area to create more space for guests accessing the door.

A truly beautiful hotel with exceptional people and thoughtful design.
Pros:

We enjoyed our first stay so much that we extended it, and then chose to return to The Memory on our way home.

The hotel is simply exquisite. Its eye for detail and beautifully curated aesthetic completely captured my heart. Every space feels thoughtfully designed, with a sense of personality rather than just another hotel interior.

The staff were outstanding. Friendly, efficient, and genuinely helpful at every turn. Nathan, in particular, went above and beyond when I needed a Thai speaker to help me navigate some complicated banking and hospital matters. His English, like that of every staff member we encountered, was excellent.

The Memory is a true gem, and its location is perfect for exploring the charm and character of Old Phuket Town. I am already looking forward to a return visit.
