Sad and everything is sub-standard due an inept & lazy ownership.
Pros:

The view was lovely, the position was great, the Hungarian staff at reception were trying to be helpful but embarrassed and trying to cover up the down side.

Cons:

The Chef who runs the restaurant attached was so rude ...unwelcoming to hotel guests... He's trying to run a Michelin star restaurant and has to share the space with the hotel. He doesn't want to do the breakfast. The terrace canopies were torn, the paving in the garden area is broken & dangerous. The whole place is full of broken umbrellas. The bedding is terrible, TV did not fully work, the phone in the room didn't work. The Hotel is falling apart and run down. It needs someone to buy it and make it what it could be. So many guests asking for milk for the coffee in the room; very sad. It is in a wonderful position, but the Italian owner is not interested in hospitality, just money. A cheap & familiar attitude. It needs Swiss owners who want to give good hospitably & are proud to own a property like this. Very disappointed, we complained to manager when he finally turned up and he begged me not to give a bad review. Very sad, it could be wonderful but its not !!!! Looks ok in the pictures but the reality is very different.

Die ruhige Lage

Cons:

Frühstücksbuffet war eher bescheiden für den Preis. Bedienung konnte nur englisch. Ein Wasser auf dem Zimmer wäre nett. Wir hatten Durst!

Wunderbarer Ort bei sonnigem Wetter
Pros:

Die Terrasse. Von der Terrasse sieht den See, den Bürgenstock und den Pilatus. Wunderbar. Das Zimmer war geräumig. Das Bad war vor kurzem renoviert worden. In wenigen Minuten ist man bei der Schiffsstation und Busstation. Das Zimmer war ruhig.

Cons:

Das grosse Minus ist das Frühstück. Das Personal wechselt häufig. Einige kennen sich gar nicht aus. Das Hotel hat mir mitgeteilt, dass das Restaurant von einem anderen Unternehmen geleitet wird. Der Rollladen funktionierte die ganze Zeit nicht. Das letzte Viertel musste er von Hand hoch geschoben werden. Ein Polsterstuhl hatte keine Polsterung mehr. Das Zutrittssystem zum Zimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Tischtücher werden selten gewechselt.(Restaurant). Schöne Gartenplätze

Pros:

Prachtige locatie, fijn bed. Ziet er goed uit. Fijn zwembad en restaurant.

Cons:

Gebrek aan airco. Enkel een rolairco, maar deze maakt veel herrie. Ook de bloedspetters in de gordijnen waren niet heel fris

Wunderschöne Lage, nettes Personal, kleine Mängel

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Der Pool war sauber, die Umgebung mit Seezugang wunderschön.
Das Personal ist zuvorkommend.

Cons:

Gästekarten haben wir keine bekommen. Bei der Rückfrage war die Antwort: manchmal geben wir sie, manchmal nicht. Muss erfragt werden!!! Wir hätten mit der Fahrt auf die Rigi und dem Urbangolf einiges gespart.
Spinnweben im Zimmer.
Offenes Gebäck als Willkommensgeschenk ist nicht so hygienisch.

Zuwenig Personal beim Frühstück.

Pros:

L'emplacement au bord du lac et la vue.

Cons:

Le système d'ouverture/fermeture des portes avec un code qui fonctionne très mal.
Bien qu'ayant subí quelques rénovations (salle de bain), ça reste un vieil hôtel et un vieux bâtiment.
