The inadequacy of the provision of television coverage. In effect only BBC was available ,which could also be intermittent. WiFi only only satisfactory available in the Bar area.

The room's windows were sealed so it was quite hot.
The breakfast menu was unpriced and expensive for what it was. I suggest getting a quote for breakfasts before accepting the option. The food was quite well cooked but there were some odd "additions" to the final dish ( for example, a nicely cooked seafood pasta dish absolutely smothered in parmesan. A chorizo hash that turned out more like huevos rancheros. A regular burger with tartar sauce. )

The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was advertised as a room with 3 single beds, however it was actually a triple bunk bed. I couldn't get in the bed properly. The mattress was shocking. I tried sleeping on the sofa, which was equally as uncomfortable. I left at 1.45am as I was unable to sleep.

Bit of noise from road

We ate in the restaurant and this is what let the whole experience down, the service was not good, we waited a very long time for our food and two of our party had steaks which were not good at all (very gristly)
Breakfast was good, service was better, however there was no vegan spread available at all (its only margarine!), and I had explained when I made the booking that we had vegans in our party.
We have stayed with you before and the room price has always included breakfast. This time it did not, possibly I should have noticed that when I booked, but when we were asked to put our breakfast order in the night before, no-one asked if we would be staying for breakfast or mentioned that it was not included in the price. We might have gone somewhere else for breakfast.

My big hate was that the net curtains in the room were black with mould truly. I'm not ott fussy, but black mould all over them - I have an allergy and I mentioned to owner - she said they were only washed 2 weeks ago but they have a problem with damp/windows and the curtains get mouldy! It's not good enough - if they get mouldy don't put them up or get dehumidifiers or sort windows out - it was disgusting (and so was response). The room was wrong (despite me booking a twin and emails back from owners saying it was a twin, got there to a double), was made to feel guilty when asking to change - found some staff quite hostile in fact. If you don't have a car book somewhere else, the roads aren't walkable and there's very little public transport. If you need a cab forget it.
