Most enjoyable. We travelled by train from Kent for a family wedding/short holiday.
Pros:

Good & varied choices for breakfast
Conveniently located for trains,buses,& town centre.
Cleanliness of premises.
The utmost care & extreme consideration shown to us when we were so late in arriving due to disruption & cancellation of our train connections.
The high calibre, friendly& obliging kind staff & clientele.
We thoroughly enjoyed our,all too brief,stay in Chinon@your hotel.
It was a most tranquil & pleasantly restorative experience for us & one we would,very much,like to repeat sometime in the future.
Thank you so much.

Cons:

A retractable insect screen on the window would have been a useful enhancement.
Particularly @ night when the window had to be open.

Chaleur étouffante, chambre petite, odeur de renfermé, 70 euros un 2 étoiles, loin du centre ville ou un 3 étoiles coûte 55 euros. Très décevant

Freundlicher Empfang, Extra Abstellraum für das Fahrrad, alles sauber, Ventilator, gratis Wasser zur Begrüßung, früher Check in

Cons:

Das kleine Zimmer hat sich während der Hitzephase so stark aufgeheizt, dass ich kaum schlafen konnte, Frühstück lt. Aushang im Zimmer 8.00 Uhr, lt. Hotelier aber erst 8.30, auch auf Nachfrage war 8 Uhr nicht möglich, WLAN nur temporär verfügbar

La propreté de la chambre, l'accueil, le parking sécurisé
L'emplacement de l'hôtel qui n'est pas très loin du centre ville (900 mètres), c'était la canicule à Chinon mais nous avons pû dormir il y a un bon ventilateur dans la chambre
Attention il y a des marches à monter pour accéder aux chambres
