Great stay at W
Pros:

Congratulations to the whole crew for a very attentive and exceptional service. Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Startered with a bad taxi experience at the airport but they made it up after arriving. A beautiful hotel with great service.

From a Small Mix Up to an Excellent Stay — W Guangzhou
Pros:

Stayed at W Guangzhou during Canton Fair and had a great experience overall.

We had a small mix-up with our booked room on arrival, but the team handled it exceptionally well and resolved it quickly. Their response really set the tone for the stay and showed a strong commitment to guest experience. Special Thanks to Holan for looking after us.

The room we ended up in was spacious, modern and very comfortable, with great city views. Breakfast was also a highlight with a wide selection, and the location in Tianhe made it easy to get around.

What stood out most was the service — professional, proactive and genuinely focused on making the stay enjoyable.

Overall, a strong luxury stay and a great example of how a hotel should handle things when plans don’t go perfectly.

Awesome stay, some improvements
Pros:

I had a fantastic stay at W Guangzhou and was really impressed overall.

The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout. The room was stylish, spacious, and very well maintained, with great attention to detail. The housekeeping staff do a great job refreshing the room everyday.

A special mention to Carmen, the lounge manager, whose hospitality and attentiveness made the lounge experience stand out. Also, credit to the duty manager for resolving a minor issue quickly and professionally.

A couple of areas for improvement: the club next door lined up pestering guests walking past to visit their club, which really detracts from the upscale feel. The breakfast buffet, is decent but could really go with more variety —especially given Guangzhou’s reputation as a foodie heaven.

Overall, still a great stay, and I’d happily return.

Cool Hotel , Great Location.
Pros:

Hotel is great, location is perfect and very convenient. Hotel installations are a bit worn out now, I have been there a few years now and you can see some things as toilet or carpet in not so good shape. But despite that its a still a great option in Guangzhou. Breakfast is very good and service its great.
