Lovely rooms, lovely history, great location!
Pros:

Great little hotel, lovely owner and rooms were exceptional. The family room I was in had a double bed plus a separate side room with a single bed...perfect if you're sharing with a teenager! Great location, just a short walk from the seafront. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Cons:

Slightly strange smell in the communal areas but don't be put off as there was no trace of this in any of the bedrooms.

Incredible value for money, our best stay of many in blackpool with an incredible host
Pros:

Much deserved 10 out of 10 for The Cumbrian. We were met by the most welcoming host who had our room ready, the room was immaculate, very clean, fresh and exceptionally comfortable. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was provided, bottled water, tea and coffee facilities, toiletries and much to the delight of our children lots of treats. We would 100% recommend staying here and would certainly return here again ourselves, thank you 😊

Fantastic stay would definitely recommend.
Pros:

Host was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. Stopped to have a chat with us and asked us how we were finding everything. Could not do anymore for us.

Cons:

Shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold

A great place to stay for a stopover in Blackpool.
Pros:

Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. We were able to park our car in the front yard which was amazing!
Decem was a lovely host.

Cons:

Just the stairs! But as travelling Aussies we are getting used to them 😂

Very pleasant place to stay with an extremely kind owner.
Pros:

The host was such a lovely, kind lady. There were complimentary bottles of water, snacks and tea/coffe and, even though my daughter was 15, she was given extra chocolate which she loved. The room was clean and smelt of washing powder and the small basket if toiletries was a nice touch. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Cons:

The room had touches of damp and several small dents/holes in the walls, however I believe that is probably more due to guests not respecting the property than any fault of the owner.

Very comfortable
Pros:

The owner was really nice, couldn't do enough, she has out out loads of snacks and bottles if water.
The bed was amazing. Ive got a bad back so used to hotel beds being bad but this bed was amazing, the mattress was soft and rhe bedding perfect. I slept the best I have in ages.

Cons:

This isnt a dislike, just comments, the bathroom was small and there was sign of a former leak on the ceiling, but the bed was that nice I didnt care. I woukd stay there again without hesitating.

Cons:

I didn't see any staff or have information on breakfast times. I was staying for a dance competition so had to leave early but there was no one around to ask breakfast times and no breakfast on at 7.30 so left my key on the bar to check out.
