Very pleasant stay in friendly pub
Pros:

Chef Stephen cooked me meals I could eat with my various intolerances and was very helpful.
Friendly staff.
Large room at front of pub.
Handy location for Cromer and Burnham Market

Cons:

Double bed a bit small for us these days.
A fridge would be good but realise this would increase cost.

Great location, quiet room, but expected a twin
Pros:

Nice quiet good sized room, but expected a twin room, and was given a double.
Shower amazing!
Coffee maker a bonus.
Lovely bed linen.

Cons:

No confirmation received about type of room allocated, expected twin, allocated double.
Breakfast mediocre- no granary/brown bread for toasting. Smoked fish not fresh. However, breakfast was served hot.
Breakfast staff “airing” her own grumbles in front of guests unacceptable.

Reliable standard and service. Have stayed here several times.
Pros:

Always an excellent breakfast. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable and well appointed.

Cons:

The room was a little small, but adequate for one person. As a double room I think it wouldn't have worked for many nights.

We had a lovely break in an area we'd never been to before.
Pros:

The location was excellent. Overstrand is a peaceful village next to the sea. Easy to drive to nearby places, such as Cromer and Sheringham.
The staff were always helpful and friendly. It was easy to book an evening meal. The meals were very good.
The room was comfortable. Having a zipped together, super king sized bed was great. Also, since the weather was exceptionally hot, the fan was very necessary and most welcome.

Cons:

Whilst the shower in the en-suite was powerful and always warm, the cubicle was cramped and it was difficult to get in and out of. People larger than us would find it impossible!
We managed to find parking space on the street opposite the hotel when we needed it. We would imagine that at the height of the summer season this might become a problem.

Great location, quiet and would stay again.
Pros:

Great location, close to the sea. Very quiet even though it’s a pub. Well cooked breakfast.

Cons:

It’s was very hot weather so the room was warm. Maybe have a fan in the room? Shower on the small side but it was adequate.

Wonderful
Pros:

We received a warm welcome on arrival, and our check-in was quick and effortless.
Our room was beautifully decorated & clean, the beds were comfy, and the room was well stocked with toiletries, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious and everything freshly prepared.
The pub & restaurant is also beautiful decorated and clean, it's family friendly and has a lovely playground onsite.
Great location with easy walking access to Overstand beach and a short drive (or 2 mile coastal walk) to Cromer
We had a lovely stay and have already recommend here to our family & friends.
