The staff
Room service
There was no place to work in the room- poor design. The TV signal kept dropping out. The lunch order was oily with calamari I suspect being cooked at wrong temperature or old oil.
Close to the conference Venue
1. Room fixtures were dusty -Lamp shades, chairs needed dusting
2. Lack of clear signs to guide guests from the lifts to restaurant/ toilets/parking
3. No parking spots for the guests - paid parking only
4. Service at the restaurant - delayed and though all the waiters were polite - tables were not numbered causing errors in serving the food - waiters were asking at each table what the guests had ordered -our food was served to other guests and we were waiting for a long time - the food was ok
The style, the cinema downstairs and the food from Monster…delicious and the lively helpful staff
Room was quite dark but still lovely
Loved our room .. clean etc plus nice atmosphere downstairs
NO parking for hotel guests … which means extra expense …. Just be aware … think $35 overnight charge …
The room
We stay every year. Some things have dipped in standard. Simple things like the nature noises playing in the corridor when going to the room. The restaurant was shut for breakfast and dinner. Many drinks were not available over the bar. The things in the bar fridge used to be free. There used to be bathrobes…simple things.
Cool/ fancy set ups/ have gym and parking
It’s a little bit far from the city
We stayed one night in a cosy room. It was clean and comfortable and close to the venue of the concert we were attending. Restaurant and bar were good as well.
Our room was next to the lift well.
Everything we needed within walking distance for a relaxed night out in Canberra. Bed, movie and delicious dinner.

Great location, nice amenities, cosy room, nice staff.
Room needs a few things fixed. Broken desk with some loose cords showing, light switches need replacing, blinds need fixing. Room was a bit dusty. All small things but add up when you are paying this price - would also like to see some simple mini bar inclusions for this price range, water/a few snacks to have with a cup of tea at the end of a long day.
Lovely apartment
Great location. Hotel’s style is unique and it has a lot of character. Bit of a rabbit warren but once you get used to it, it’s kind of fun.
A little dimly lit for my liking but that’s just my personal preference. The breakfast needs adjusting - too much yoghurt on the muesli and not enough fruit & granola. Coffee not great either.

Room was very small, but that was my fault didn’t read size of room properly, if I was staying there again I would have chosen a bigger room,
