It was really fabulous and a perfect place to celebrate world pride . The staff were fun and made us feel welcome, the rooms are cool and the breakfast was great .
It was perfect
The facility was way overpriced
Th price for the room
Excellent location, surprisingly quiet rooms and a great hotel bar
We stayed here for two nights and had a very enjoyable stay.
The location is hard to beat—just a couple of minutes’ walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station, making it ideal for arriving by train or exploring the city on foot.
Our room was excellent and, despite overlooking the tram lines, was surprisingly quiet. We both slept very well. The front desk staff were friendly, efficient and welcoming throughout our stay.
The only minor criticism was the number and placement of power outlets. There were very few, and some were in rather unusual locations. I even unplugged the radio and kettle to gain an extra socket before discovering that one outlet was controlled by a light switch!
Although the main restaurant was closed during our stay, we ate in the bar instead and were pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, the wine list was particularly impressive for a hotel bar, and the bartenders on both Monday and Wednesday were outstanding—friendly, professional and genuinely engaging. The cocktails on Wednesday evening were especially memorable.
Overall, this is an excellent hotel in a fantastic location. Apart from the minor issue with the power outlets, I would happily stay here again and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run hotel in the heart of Amsterdam.
Perfect location
Great staff
Rooms are well insulated from the outside of the building, but poorly from other rooms
Great location, comfortable beds.
Slippery shower floor. Lighting in the room is really poorly designed.
I arrived at 2:00 pm fully aware that the advertised check-in time was 3:00 pm, so I had no problem waiting. I was happy to have a drink at the bar or go for a walk until then. I went out to get some food and returned at 3:10 pm, only to be told that my room still wasn't ready.
The staff member apologised and kindly offered me a complimentary drink and an upgrade to a canal-view room because I had booked directly through my Radisson account. I didn't even know canal-view rooms were available to book, so I appreciated the gesture. I went back to the bar for a drink, and at that point everything seemed to be handled well.
However, when I returned again at 3:45 pm, my room was still not ready, despite the advertised 3:00 pm check-in time. I completely understand that Pride had taken place the day before, and I imagine management may have allowed many guests a late checkout. Even so, they had already allocated me a room at 2:00 pm, so it was disappointing that it still wasn't available nearly two hours later.
At 3:45 pm they changed my room allocation. I mentioned that I had already been offered an upgrade to a canal-view room, but the staff member said she didn't remember offering it and declined to honour it. At that stage I didn't argue, as I was only staying for one night and just wanted to get into a room and have a quick shower.
Unfortunately, when I arrived at the newly allocated room, the housekeeper was still inside cleaning it. I had to wait another couple of minutes before I could even enter. That was definitely not the experience I expected.
Having previously stayed at Victoria Plaza, I wanted to try this hotel because it looked fantastic online. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to those expectations. Looking back, I would happily have paid the extra €40 to stay at Victoria Plaza again.
I hope the hotel improves its check-in process in the future, as the property itself has a lot of potential.
Everything the location was superb the staff was superb and they had croissants at the reception which was a saviour when we were leaving as we had no time to have proper food the room was super spacious
Nothing
Location was outstanding. Staff were pleasant. Room was clean, pretty spacious, and interesting in decor.
Breakfast was rather pricey. I would have liked to use the stairs to go up.

Hotel is located in direct cebtrum of Amsterdam, very close to central station. Hotel was very nice, we had a viev on canal, room was big and very clean. Personel was amaizing, helpful and polite. When you pay a little more, the standard of service is higher, but at this hotel, it's clear that the staff cares about their work and performs it to perfection. This creates a very positive atmosphere.
Location was perfect and staff were so helpful. Breakfast was excellent.
Love the quirky art side of hotel as well.
