They do a gpod job with an older hotel
Pros:

Breakfast choice was good. Room with view was large with sofa and table and chairs.

Cons:

It is an older hotel and lots of steps and no lift is an issue. However it has much more character than the Premier Inn next door

Pros:

The location was excellent for our needs.
All the staff were friendly.

Cons:

The noise every morning at 6a.m. from the ceiling fan in the bar below. Although the owner took on board our complaint and dealt with it to our satisfaction, apologising profusely

Pros:

Lovely location staff were great Lovely room but my hubby is big so the bed felt small and the shower was small. Other than that a great stay and would return.

Would not return .not worth the cost to stay
Pros:

Our room was ready on arrival and kept clean with regular bed changes and clean towels .this hotel is in a great location with our room having a sea view

Cons:

Steps up to reception from car park .we had to walk through the bar to get to our rooms ,staff not over friendly no fridge in the room which was in need of a refurbishment and bathroom was tired and worn looking .
Breakfast was not great .no fruit or yogurts and cheap fruit juice
This hotel was definitely not worth what we paid for our stay

Staff great, location very good

Cons:

Very tired in need of a refurb i. Pub and reception area spacious but in need of an upgrade. Breakfast was ok although cooked breakfast was not brilliant

Enjoyable break but marred by location of our room right above the pub
Pros:

It was located near to the sea front and harbour side which was what we wanted
All the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful
The room was spacious with nice sea views

Cons:

We don’t have a car so we found the steep walk up from the sea to the hotel very difficult. We didn’t know it was on a hill - not everyone has a car.
Our room was right above the bar and the outside terrace so was very noisy every evening with the loud music thumping. In the bar it was so loud at times that people were literally shouting at each other to be heard.

Disappointing
Pros:

Location .. lovely veiws of the bay its only saving grace

Cons:

Rooms dirty
Windows covered in greasy finger prints same with the glass table
Empty beer bottle under the settee
Pillows rock hard which made it hard to get a good night sleep
Staff not friendly almost to much effort to say hello when I left no one asked how my stay was no goodbye saying that there were no staff around.
Very disappointed
I have stayed here in the past and never had a issue was so looking forward to going after telling my sister what a great place this was

Disappointed
Pros:

The location was spot on the games room was good the staff were friendly

Cons:

Our room23a was directly under the restaurant at 0630 we were woken by the sound of tables being dragged across the floor . And in the afternoon and evening the sound of the bass on the music were thumping .finally the bar closed at 8.30pm on the sunday

Pros:

Location was excellent. Seaview from some of the rooms (including the one I stayed in), the conservatory and outside terrace also. Short walk to the beach and not too far to walk to the marina area.

Cons:

The bar "Applebys" is essentially a pub and therefore always very busy and noisey. There was a function every day of the 3 days of my stay including an 8 hour ibiza dj stint on the terrace.
