The location is incredible - the view of the cliffs directly from my room, the footpath along the cliffs right next to the hotel, the gardens overlooking the sea close by the hotel - it was amazing. The room was also very nicely decorated. It was an oasis of peace after being in Edinburgh for Fringe
Great location by the sea. Hot tub. Friendly staff.
The room wasn’t clean and areas of it was dated and needed repair. For the price we paid I expected it to be clean and not have various stains on the furnishings etc.

Wife on TV not great but it was very windy weather outside so that might have been the reason.
It was very welcoming with lovely , helpful staff . We had dinner which was very good quality and value . Breakfast had excellent choices . Lovely location on cliff top , short walk to town. Great modern shower

Die Lage ist einzigartig, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und professionell. Das Hausinterner Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, wir haben mit Blick auf das Meer zu Abend gegessen und das Essen wirklich sehr genossen!
Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, obwohl es augenscheinlich renoviert wurde. An einigen Stellen fällt dies aber auf: Wir hatten das Zimmer Nummer 2 und im Bad tropfte das kondensierte Wasser vom Duschen wieder von der Decke bzw. Oberlicht, weil es in dem Bad weder ein zu öffnendes Fenster noch eine Lüftung gab. Wenn man geräuschempfindlich ist, kann es ein wenig anstrengend werden: das Haus ist sehr hellhörig, und über die ganze Nacht hinweg war ein konstanter Brummton zu hören. Unser Zimmer war etwas staubig.

Bed was far too hard so sleep didn't go to well.we booked the hotel as dinner was an option no need to figure out where to eat but on our stay the dinner wasn't available due to staff issues so we were disappointed with hotel
The location is very nice - right on the sea front - and the outside of the building is very impressive.
It is only a short walk to Dunbar high street

The rooms were absolutely acceptable but felt a little dated.
I felt like for a kind of nice older building the staff uniform could be a little more sharp to keep in with the more grand appearances of the property itself.
The location and the staff were great
The view was just fantastic. If it were not for a few minor things, 5 stars - like, I could not fully close the transom window. Staff were always helpful but they seemed tired. This is a somewhat quiet town and hotel, which was appreciated. Plenty of ways to hike and walk but not a lot to do in town - again okay. Somewhat of a surprise, the meals were excellent.
