Wonderful position with beautiful sea views - excellent breakfast
Single bedroom on the small side but has everything you need

Hotellet lovar att de serverar middag. Det visade sig att hotellet saknade middagskock den kvällen vi bodde där! Trots att hotellet kände till detta fick vi inte besked vid incheckning utan först flera timmar senare när vi skulle äta!
Hotellet hade heller något alternativ att erbjuda utan vi fick och iväg och själva finna en restaurang som var öppen (detta var en söndagskväll). Trist frukostbuffé. Tråkigt rum med bullrande radiator. Liten 21 tums tv. Tråkigt badrum och knarrande golv. Inget säkerhetslås på dörrens insida. Slitet. Hotell fick höra detta vid utcheckning men var inte intresserad av att erbjuda någon kompensation för bristerna. Hotellet är egentligen inte värd att få några fler gäster om de förstår ta hand om sina gäster på bättre sätt!

I was very unwell 5 hours after eating in the hotel restaurant.
I was also charged for breakfast that i did not eat.

Der Teppich hatte undefinierbare Flecken und es hatte nur zwei kleine Haken für die Duschtücher.
Die Lage ist traumhaft, mit tollem Blick auf das Meer. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr angemessen
Das Haus ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und besonders das Bad ist nicht sehr ansprechend, aber zweckmäßig
We stayed for a couple of nights as we were at a wedding near by. The hotel is quite small, but all the staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is plentiful and they have a wide selection to choose from. The hotel is a bit dated, but was clean and comfortable with amazing views from the sea having rooms. Would certainly stay here again if we are in the area.

Perfect location! Great views out over the sea, beer garden perfectly placed to enjoy a drink and admire the view. Location is a few minutes walk from the town centre and harbour so perfect for exploring. Even closer for beach access. Managed an early morning dip in the sea (at high tide) and had the whole place to myself!
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both great. Good variety and well cooked!

Maybe a little bit tired
This is a return visit for us, it’s the perfect base to stay in if you want to do the boat trip to the Isle of May as it’s a short walk to the town and harbour. Lovely staff, clean and the view over the cliffs is beautiful. We had a hot tub room, which we loved. We also ate in the restaurant which is good.

Amazing views, avoided corporate style atmosphere by keeping some nice ‘quirks’ like the giant mirror, amazing breakfast !
The one thing that stood out was the use of very white light bulbs. - bit like being at the dentists - use of warmer tones creates a much more welcoming atmosphere (at no huge cost)
