Charming boutique hotel with a great pool.
Pros:

Very well decorated and pretty hotel. Pool area is like an oasis and pool is just the right temperature. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Also nice quiet location. I read some comments the area looked a bit unsafe. Its not a beautiful street but perfectly fine.

Would definitely stay here again. About half way between the train station and bus depot which both easily walked to

The staff were amazing. Breakfast was huge. Location a couple of minutes walk from centre, in with all the locals, a nice sitting area by the pool😊

Cons:

Even though it wasn’t much, they charged for bottle of water. Just add an extra dollar to the price per night and give “complimentary” water

Hotel familiar excelentemente atendido. Nos sentimos muy a gusto. Muy recomendable.
Pros:

La atenciòn del personal del hotel fue uno de los puntos màs altos. Nos atendieron increiblemente bien y nos ayudaron en todo. Es un hotel familiar pequeño atendido con mucha dedicaciòn. El desayuno era buenìsimo. Si quieren ir a Efesos o la Casa de Maria lo recomendamos mucho.

Cons:

Si bien la ubicación del hotel no es mala ya que está cerca de los accesos, la calle donde se encuentra ubicado el hotel no es linda pero no nos generò inseguridad.

Accueil , petit déjeuner varié, décor soigné ,tableaux en faïence dans les couloirs , proximité avec le centre . passer dans la rue où vivent les locaux .
Partant très tôt le lendemain matin, on nous a préparé des sandwichs avec boisson et fruits frais pour emporter

Cons:

Ce n'est pas que je n'ai pas apprécié, mais c'est plutôt pour informer des clients : l'emplacement : Cela pourrait impressionner un peu des personnes qui veulent se sentir "en sécurité "car on côtoie les locaux ,le soir c'est faiblement éclairé . Ceci dit, il n'y a eu aucun souci

Quirky comfy hotel.
Pros:

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice decor, and a really great breakfast. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean.

Cons:

Like all small, family run hotels, this place definitely has a few quirks. My biggest issue was the large number of cats that congregate on the doorstep of the hotel, making it hard to get in without A stepping on one (I did by accident), and B not letting any into the lobby. There were literally 6-8 cats there most of the time. The other issue, which is clearly related, is that the lobby and upstairs common areas of the hotel smelled quite strongly of male cat pee.

The unheated pool is nice if rather cold, and overly chlorine smelling.

If you want a safe fir passports etc, and tea making facilities in your room, you can request them. They don't come as standard.

Bathroom is tiny but functional.
Terrible hair dryer.

Sound proofing is not great.

Ubicación perfecta, desayuno INCREÍBLE (abundante y rico), el personal súper amable y nos ayudaron con las excursiones. La habitación súper amplia y cómoda.

We loved this place! Very special!

The Saint John Hotel is a gem! The place is impeccably clean and well-appointed, quiet, and as mentioned in other comments, the breakfast is a delicious feast.
Although it is in an unusual part of town, that was irrelevant for us. We had a rental car and did not feel unsafe parking it.

Se eu voltar para Selçuk, ficarei aqui novamente.

Melhor café da manhã de todos hotéis que ficamos na Turquia.
Funcionários extremamente preocupados com nosso bem estar.
Limpeza dos quartos excepcional, eu nunca tinha visto algo igual, nem no Brasil.
Área externa, perto da piscina, onde pudemos ficar tomando vinho e conversando. Quando chegava algum fumante por perto, os funcionários pediam para o fumante sentar mais afastado da gente, pois não éramos fumantes. E isso é algo muito legal e importante, pois na Turquia pode-se fumar em qualquer lugar, inclusive ambientes fechados.
O hotel também fica muito bem localizado e silencioso.
Fomos a pé para Ephesus (aprox 3 km). O Centro (com lojas e restaurantes) fica a cerca de 3 ou 4 quadras, muito fácil para ir almoçar ou jantar. O museu e as ruínas da Basílica de São João também são possíveis de se fazer a pé (cerca de 1 km).

Cons:

A rua onde o hotel fica parece estranha, mas a cidade é bastante segura, e fica muito próximo do centro. Voltávamos depois de escurecer e sempre foi tranquilo.
