Cons:

After a 20 hour flight we found the reception staff unfriendly. We were unable to check in until 40 mins after making a booking. This wouldn’t have been a problem if we were provided a information on what was happening. Instead our initial interaction with a female staff member was that our reservation hadn’t come through and that we had to sit down. We had to make 2 enquiries with other staff to get decent information. We were made to feel like a burden which was not great after a long time travelling.

Hotel was close to the air port

Cons:

Staff were aware we were a party of three and we still had to ask for a spare bed to be made. Room service was expensive for what it was.

Really great access to the airport. Clean room.

Cons:

Check in is so late (3pm). Everybody staying at your hotel is staying there because they have a flight the next day and so an earlier check in would be really appreciated. We had to be up at 2.30am for our flight, we wanted to check in to relax the night before. Also, while we were able to leave our luggage before checking in, I didn’t feel it was safe enough, just sitting next to the check in desk at reception.

Pros:

The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. We’ve stayed here many times when we have morning flights out of Sydney.

Cons:

Our meals at the restaurant were terrible and pricey. The staff were nice but poorly trained. We’ve eaten here 5/6 times before and the food and staff were great. We’ll go over to the airport from now on. The mains were served in a puddle of oil.

Great location when travelling internationally
Pros:

Perfect location was able to get off the bus straight to the door and an easy walk to international departures

Cons:

Air con was too cold and I couldn’t warm up the room
