Pros:

Lovely small hotel located in Trieste Old Town. The location is fantastic to explore all that the city has to offer. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room and ensuite were clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The building has an elevator up to the fourth floor, which is great when travelling with heavy luggage. Staff did communicate promptly in advance. Nice breakfast, including hot food options and coffee made to order.

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn't set high enough and the bedroom got very warm at night. Also, the shower cabin in our room needed fixing or replacing: the sliding doors didn't close/seal properly and there was no functioning holder for the shower head.

Pros:

The hotel is very well located in the old town of Trieste, close to a big public parking. The staff was nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms are not sound proof and the noise from the upper floor was unbearable.

Un hôtel très bien placé dans la vieille ville. Les chambres confortables avec une très bonne literie. Climatisation efficace.

Nearly unbearable. Facilities not at all as promised. Would not recommend.

We were given a room to accommodate our family of four. We live in Austria and we live without air conditioning - even in the summer. Our room here was located on the top floor. The staff told us the room was equipped with air conditioning. We arrived to a room that felt like an oven. And the space with a bunk bed for our kids was even hotter. We asked the front desk to adjust the temperature while we went to dinner. When we returned, no staff, and the room was still sweltering. We did not sleep at all. I would not recommend staying in this hotel in the summer months
