Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely, warm and spacious, bed comfy and I slept well. Great location and handy to everywhere I needed to be. The balcony was perfect and private without hiding the view. Loved the 'decoration' and art through the hallways etc

Check in and check out were fast and efficient. The staff were professional and friendly, including a very helpful housekeeping team !
Our room was spacious with a double couch, coffee table, a desk and a very comfortable chair. It also had an ocean view. The kitchenette had all the basic appliances. We had all the amenities we needed in the bathroom.

The west end of New Plymouth is the place to be, The Hotel (K & O), food (Start the morning at Monicas, Lunch at Ms. White or Public Kitchen and dinner at the Snug Lounge) and drink (At Itch Bar or a Coffee at Ozone) options are excellent for a weekend getaway. All within 50m, but if you need to stretch the legs you are close to the coast for a great work around the excellent coastal walkway or up the hill to the gardens. Hopefully you are served by Tarn, an excellent waitress, personality and Dalek, she made the weekend abit more memorable, Thanks Tarn. Jo & Brent
We only stayed for one night while passing through New Plymouth but the K & Q Hotel Suites was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a business suite room which was very spacious. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was a good size and had excellent water pressure. The seperate toilet was an unexpected bonus. The location was perfect. There are plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We also took advantage of hiring a couple of the hotel e-bikes and going for a 2 hour ride along the Coastal Walk/Cycleway.

Cool hotel with lots of great vibes. It was recommended to me by someone who had worked there in the past and even told me to say hi to someone. I did and they all remembered her. I loved the decor of the place and all the various and different restaurants the hotel offers. It's a small hotel but they still have fun restaurants around it.
