Great place to stay, great location, very nice accommodations and friendly staff.
Pros:

This was a trip to NY to visit friends and family and White Plains was a perfect location for us to stay, convenient for driving and easy access to railroad for trips to Manhattan. Cambria Hotel was central and affordable valet service made it convenient to have our vehicle nearby. Many restaurants within walking distance, a mall next door, a nice lobby for lounging , a full bar and convenient (affordable ) breakfast area. ALL staff was friendly and accommodating. Worth mentioning that due to a heat wave, there was a power outage but it was brief because the hotel generator was operating much of the time making the loss of power mostly unnoticeable.

Cons:

There is nothing worth mentioning that we didn't like.

Great hotel for visiting the area or NYC
Pros:

This is a wonderful hotel for staying near NYC. There were plenty of restaurants in walking distance and the train station was a short walk or cheap taxi ride. We were there for a graduation party but also went into the city every day. The staff were friendly and helpful for recommendations and directions and the valet parking worked quickly and efficiently. The rooms were spacious and clean. We will stay here when we return to the area.

Never staying at this hotel again, very disappointed.
Pros:

The valet was great at getting our car to us in a very timely manner.

Cons:

I had my elderly parents stay in room 805. My mother came home with bedbugs. The amount of work it has taken to not spread the bedbugs to their home was way more costly and stressful than the cost of the hotel. We were staying at the hotel because it was in close proximity to the family funeral we were attending so the bedbugs added insult to injury in my eyes.

Oops. No hot water
Pros:

Staff knew the hot water system was broken but didn’t inform us at check-in in, and no apologies in the morning. The totally untrained person at checkout was totally uninformed as to how to handle a situation. Despite high ratings and price point, this is below the average Marriott or Sheraton
