I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.
The most serious issue is the extremely high level of humidity in the room. As soon as you open the door, you are hit by a strong moldy, musty smell that is unhealthy and unacceptable. There is visible mold on the ceiling and walls.
Overall, it is obvious that the property has not received proper maintenance in years. Even the entrance ramp is in poor condition and could potentially damage your vehicle.
I booked a two-night stay but decided to leave immediately after arriving because of the terrible conditions. I was only on the property for a few minutes, yet the hotel still charged me 50% of the total reservation.

Great place. The manager was busy when checking in, so he told us to go to the restaurant bar and get our free welcome drink. Great service, friendly, helpful staff. Nice property, goog pool and environment. Restaurant and bar on site. Very good place to stay and relax. Good free Tico and North American style breakfast. We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was marvelous. Large room with a king bed, AC and basic amenities. The Gem was the outdoor balcony seating area facing the beautiful, jungle like view. Very private and relaxing. Located about 40 meters from the pool area and restaurant, buffered by nature. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Overall nice hotel with facilities that could use a makeover. Pool big and spacious, restaurant on-site. The breakfast was a good mix of continental and buffet, you could make your own waffels. The room was simple but had everything we needed. For a familj of four I wish we would have booked a bigger room though and not the standard, the bigger rooms had much more space and balconies with seating, we only had one chair. Location a bit off from centre and you could not walk there, had to take the car for dinner. Large parking area. No fridge in our room but you could use one in the common area.
Facilities and the hotel overall could use a little facelift, a bit far from the centre if you prefer to walk like us

L’emplacement est idéal pour visiter le parc, aller à la plage ou au resto. Le personnel est sympathique, le petit déjeuner très correct et la piscine est un vrai plus pour se rafraîchir même si elle n’est pas très propre … comme le reste!
Le Bungalow que nous avions choisi n’est pas une bonne option. Plus chers, sous équipés ( un lit, un frigo et un bureau avec une seule chaise … pas de kitchenette, micro-onde ou machine à café ). De plus, ils sont situés à l’entrée du complexe collés à la route ultra-passante en pleine montée. Impossible de dormir des 4h00 du matin …
