Breakfast was ok but very basic , dinner was good, the room very clean.
The room was VERY Cold no heating on and hot water on arrival( after day 1 the room was lovely and warm so why say the heating was on when clearly not such a bad start to a 2 night break) we asked for a heater after a few exchanged words we was given a heater BUT when having evening meal the heater was taken out of our room this did not end well !!
Did not get the room we booked UP GRADE !! to no heating and hot water OH DEAR.
There is a roof window with no blind so if you are a light sleeper this very bright earlly hrs in the morning not great.
Staff need to learn if there is a problem just sort it out with out a fuss such a shame!

The room was comfortable . The facilities were very good. The food and service were fantastic. The staff and ladybwho owned the Dog abd Patridge was extremely helpful and friendly. We felt really comfortable worth the cost. The location was perfect with a lovely walk distance to Langsett Resvoir. I would recommend to friends and family

Deluxe room only had a double bed. No towel rail/heating in the bathroom. T
he small velux window didn't have a blind, so we were woken early with sunlight pouring in - ironic as it was a dark room!

I brought a group of friends to the Dog and Partridge and we all had a fantastic night celebrating my 60 th birthday.The staff were all amazing-so kind and very helpful.
The restaurant was a lovely attractive place to enjoy the fab food ; and the service was excellent.
They couldn't do enough for you.
There was a sing- along later in the evening, which was good fun and everyone was very friendly.
The rooms were clean and the King room we stayed in was a good size. Outside the property has great views.

Very warm welcome from all staff. The Dog and Partridge are incredibly dog friendly even providing dog towels and a bowl in the room. Good local beers in the bar and great food. There was a lovely community feel too. Easy parking and great access to the Pennine Way.
Stylishly designed with classic country-home furnishings. Superb food for evening meal and breakfast ! Hosts were really friendly & helpful.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was warm and very comfortable. And the food in the restaurant was excellent, both our evening meal and breakfast.

There was nothing to not like
Staff were excellent. They were all helpful, friendly and natural. Food was good, especially the breakfasts. Location stunning. Although we didn’t have a dog, their warmth and attitude to elderly guests with their pets was a credit to them.
The ability to turn down the heating in the room would have been a boon. We roasted and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was almost painful! The wooden bed frame creaked all night. The combo didn’t make for a brilliant nights sleep.
