A warm welcome and great hospitality during our stay. Fine breakfast
Well run Hotel/Pub spotlessly clean with good food and good real ale The staff were very pleasant and very hard working. The Hotel/Pub is in the middle of nowhere with great views over the Peak District and has ample parking. There was an organ in the bar area and we were treated by the regulars having a get together and a little sing song. Very enjoyable evening and great fun was had by all.
There was nothing to dislike, we had a very pleasant stay. However, we did have quite a long wait for our evening meal as a large party of walkers had just ordered their food before us. We were told there would be a delay and were kept informed.

Rooms at the front suffer a little road noise if the window is open. It can be a busy main road.
