The coffee counter within the hotel was ideal for when we had an early start to our day for a day trip .

Hotel is located very close to the train station, which was perfect for us as we travelled from Kingston by train. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our double queen room was very spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Beware when booking with Bonvoy as their booking system bumped me from the downtown property to the midtown property ruining my daughter's graduation for my 2 nights stay. When I arrived at hotel I was told I didn't have a reservation there and had been booking this same hotel for 5 years now for visit to montreal to see my daughter and was told there was a big playoff game and there were no rooms available and front desk said you probably got bumped as it was very busy and other hotel was only 8 minutes down the street three hours later bonvoy asked me to cancel my reservation and booked me another room right next door at Ac hotel for $600 more and was told 8 days later after canceling my first reservation which then I was told was prepaid and no refund of another $600 out $1000 after it was all said and done ...great bait and switch. Hate to see how they treat their regular clients you really know how to ruin a special occasion

Disappointed: Room not cleaned in spite of repeated reminders.
No way to make a hot cup of tea & couldn't sleep well due to noise made by A/C & traffic outside. Also got scared & wakened up by fire alarm test without warning.
From beginning to end, this stay was a series of disappointments.
The room itself feels outdated and clearly lacks proper maintenance. The refrigerator was extremely noisy — something you simply do not expect in a good hotel, especially at this price level. The same applies to the air conditioning, which was also very loud and made it difficult to rest comfortably.
Another major disappointment was the so-called “pool.” The fact that the hotel had a swimming pool was actually one of the main reasons I chose this property. Unfortunately, calling it a swimming pool is very generous — it is more of a paddling pool than an actual pool.
The biggest issue, however, was the complete lack of customer service regarding the invoice. I clearly requested my company name to be added to the invoice both at check-in and again at check-out. Despite this, the invoice was issued incorrectly without the company name. After several phone calls, the hotel refused to correct it, claiming that once an invoice is issued, it cannot be modified. Customer satisfaction clearly does not seem to be a priority here.
This is unfortunate because with a more customer-oriented management approach and some renovations to bring the property up to modern four-star standards, this hotel could actually be quite pleasant.
Unfortunately, considering the price, I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel.

Room temperature was quite cold and guests are unable to set. Restless sleep because of this and shorted stay as staff response unsatisfactory
