Lovely rural pub & hotel and great value for money.
Pros:

It was a very nice stay and given how cheap it was, the hotel was much better than we expected. It was in a pretty location with a lovely garden, friendly staff and a nice bar. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed and dinner in the bar was delicious.

Cons:

It was all lovely, however, the bar was very quiet in the evening. We stayed on a Monday night though so maybe that's why.

Great overnighter
Pros:

Very nice pub with great staff. Comfy room and a very good menu at a good price these days. We will definitely return

Pillow too solid. Free drink I got signing up to emails not available which felt a bit tough.

Definitely be returning to the poachers Inn !!!
Pros:

The poacher Inn was an absolute pleasure to stay in. My husband and I and our Two miniature dachshunds were warmly welcomed by Lydia who showed us to our comfortable and spotless room. We had a generous tea tray with plenty of supplies including biscuits aplenty. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the quality of the food was stunning and reasonably priced. They were happy for me to share my husband’s meal as I cannot eat a full meal . The food was freshly cooked and we recommend eating there. The new Chef it was his 3rd night was definitely a hit with us . Kate the manager obviously has a real passion to provide an exceptional experience. The atmosphere is welcoming to all and the quiz night was a lot of fun . My husband needed to work and the WiFi was free and very good. We will be returning for sure and recommend them highly as a country destination.

Cons:

Honestly this is an old building that could do with some exterior repairs if we are pushed to say negatives . Some painting of window frames but honestly nothing to affect a comfortable stay .

Lovely hotel and worth the money.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and polite. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Bed was comfortable, if slightly soft for my liking, but thats just my preference. Could have done with more teabags in the room and a sink that we could fill the kettle from. Bottle of water provided but not enough for 2 people and was warm.

Gutes Hotel, aber schlecht für Geschäftsreisende, die eine Rechnung benötigen!
Cons:

Ich warte noch immer auf die korrekte Rechnung für den Aufenthalt. Obwohl ich bereits eine Email geschrieben und vor einer Woche dort angerufen habe, habe ich noch keine korrekte Rechnung erhalten!

Recent enjoyable trip.
Pros:

Located in a pretty setting with places of interest nearby. The bedroom was.comfy and clean with everything I needed.
The staff were friendly and very helpful couldn't fault their hospitality.
Excellant and hearty breakfast. Would certainly stay again.

Cons:

I had a slight issue with shower but it was sufficient and duly noted and responded to

Fab one night stay wish it was more we will defo be using again thank you
Pros:

Clean the staff were fab nothing to much for them we ate dinner food was yummy tea tray in room lovely goodies and a fan in the room most for us so dog friendly baskets of toys to play with and some good treats.
