Lovely hotel and worth the money.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and polite. Room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Bed was comfortable, if slightly soft for my liking, but thats just my preference. Could have done with more teabags in the room and a sink that we could fill the kettle from. Bottle of water provided but not enough for 2 people and was warm.

Gutes Hotel, aber schlecht für Geschäftsreisende, die eine Rechnung benötigen!

Ich warte noch immer auf die korrekte Rechnung für den Aufenthalt. Obwohl ich bereits eine Email geschrieben und vor einer Woche dort angerufen habe, habe ich noch keine korrekte Rechnung erhalten!

Recent enjoyable trip.
Pros:

Located in a pretty setting with places of interest nearby. The bedroom was.comfy and clean with everything I needed.
The staff were friendly and very helpful couldn't fault their hospitality.
Excellant and hearty breakfast. Would certainly stay again.

I had a slight issue with shower but it was sufficient and duly noted and responded to

Clean the staff were fab nothing to much for them we ate dinner food was yummy tea tray in room lovely goodies and a fan in the room most for us so dog friendly baskets of toys to play with and some good treats.

We’ll 100% be back!!
Pros:

Just got back a fantastic overnight stay at The Poacher Inn. From the moment we arrived we loved it. The pub itself has wonderful decor, the staff were so friendly and our room was beautiful. We shared some ‘small plates’ from the pub menu and the food was delicious. Would certainly recommend - to be honest, we didn’t want to leave!!

Pros:

It was convenient to the even the were attending

Cons:

Rooms were small and windows were locked. It was very hot. Staff were not particularly friendly or professional. Hot water in bathroom was exceptionally hot with no warning. No checkout or staff present at checkout at 1030 am.

Pros:

The room was clean.

Cons:

The window couldn’t be closed. It was very noisy from the road outside. The curtains didn’t cover the window so it was very light very early in the morning. The bathroom is quite old and the shower very noisy. The sliding door didn’t close properly. The property requires check out before 11 am. After getting up at 8 am and looking for someone to maybe ask for a coffee. No one was found. We waited until 10:30 and still there was no one around. We finally just left the keys and drove off. Very odd.

Lovely little pub in a pretty area with great staff.

Cons:

Beginning to look a little tired and unkept. This is the 4th year I've stayed. The back garden hasn't been mown. No weeding has been done. Real shame as doesn't look good. My room wasn't cleaned all week either. The shower is revolting and needed a clean. The room locks on the doors still need replacing. Loud mouth drunk in the pub on Friday night.
