Fantastic Reception
Pros:

Recently I’ve been volunteering for FIFA for the World Cup. For this trip, since I was going to be up there, my family decided to come with me and we stayed at Home2 Suites in Philly. I called the day before to see if there was any way to check in a little early since I had to be at the stadium for a shift that day. They told me to ask for Vikki upon arrival. Vikki happened to be at the reception desk and she was extremely accommodating considering the situation. She was able to get us checked in early which was so helpful (especially since we have little kids). I cannot tell you how appreciative we were with her help and customer service! She was extremely friendly and professional! Vikki- if you see this… THANK YOU AGAIN! You were such a pleasure to work with! Our room was perfect! Location was excellent as it’s close to everything! Highly recommend this wonderful hotel!

Pros:

I liked the location.

Cons:

Having to pay for parking and hotel does not have any incentives to assist customers. No complimentary water available in the room which other Home2suites hotels I went to made provision for its customers.
Body shower run out. It looked like it was not checked prior to assigning the room to customers. Was told housekeeping doesn’t happen on Saturday because I checked in on a Friday.
Cleanliness was sub par. Had to kill a roach.
The room needs an upgrade.
Breakfast was cold especially the foods in the glass.,e.g waffles, bacon/sausage, wedges.

Despite the limited breakfast options, the hotel's central location. Close to the subway and market.
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located, about 100 to 200 meters from the subway station. There is also a Trader Joe's at roughly the same distance, and the famous Reading Terminal Market—a historic public market—is right across the street.

The room includes a kitchen, and the bathroom is decent.

We stayed as a group of five with two beds and a sofa bed; it worked well, even though space was somewhat limited.

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing, there were few food options available.

Vikki front desk 11/10
Pros:

Vikki at the front desk was an absolute PLEASURE to be around! So accommodating and kind, and that laugh can light up the whole room. Sometimes you gotta chase a person down to get their name so you can show your appreciation for them with a public shoutout. Vikki is more than deserving of this positivity because of the positivity she brings! Thank you so much for being a highlight of my trip!!
