Exceptional value in downtown historic Savannah.
Pros:

This was an exeptional find. Easy check in, very polite and helpful staff. Parking is $40 bucks a night ( same as everywhere) and easy to get in and out with your room key. Parking spots near check in to give you the time to park car temporarily then go check in. Very clean room, good water pressure , the most comfortable bed so had a wonderful sleep. Great location that is close to everything. Lots of restaurants, clothes shopping, and bars. Beautiful old buildings. Trolly buses, walking tours- lots to do. They offer between 5 to 7 pm daily two drinks per person and snacks for free. Drinks can be pop, wine, beer or well drinks. Breakfast was free and substantial. More than I expected - hot eggs, bacon ,juice, toast , coffee, yogurt, fruit etc etc. we were driving NH to Fl and loved this hotel. Everyone was super friendly and helpful.

Unforgettable pleasant surprise at Embassy Suite Savannah
Pros:

The Embassy Suites Savannah surprised us with a fantastic upgrade to a large two bedroom, two bath suite on the 5th floor with a great city view. Eddy from the front desk made our stay unforgettable.

The furniture at this location is awaiting an upgrade as well…

Staff was very helpful, including answering our requests for extra pillows and towels quickly.

Shampoo dispeser was empty when we checked in. Furniture could use a little updating.

Nice hotel, nice area but food services and support a little disappointing.
Pros:

Location was good, spacious rooms and very friendly staff

Cons:

Breakfast was absolute chaos, not enough staff or tables available and large queues especially if you wanted to order an omelette with a 30 minute wait. Appreciate it was Labor weekend but the hotel should have staffed accordingly.
