An oasis of calm in a big city
Pros:

Lovely eco friendly hotel right near the airport. Friendly staff, quiet and comfortable room, lots of large, soft, fluffy towels (a big plus for me!), and a plentiful and delicious breakfast. The highlight was looking over the little vlei (wetland) with frogs chirping and weaver birds building their nests.

Very pleasant stay
Pros:

My flight from Cape Town to Mauritius was cancelled by the airline (Air Mauritius), leaving quite a lot of us stranded in the airport for several hours before the airline booked some of us into Hotel Verde which thankfully was very close to the airport.

The staff at Hotel Verde were amazing - very acommodating and they remembered by name each and every time, which is normally something you encounter at the top end hotels, so a massive thumbs-up for the service level.

The restaurant menu was reasonably extensive and the meals were tasty. My only criticism is that the pasta is perhaps overcooked by a minute or two, as I prefer al dente rather than slightly soggy. But top marks for the awesome flavours - the chef clearly isn't scared of bold and exciting flavours.

Hotel Verde
Pros:

Very convenient for airport with great shuttle service. Rooms are comfortable and inviting. E-hailing access is good and most of Cape Town attractions are a short e-hailing trip away. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Pros:

The Shuttle Service to and from the airport is so convenient and the hotel is a high standard! Very comfortable and good restaurant. So convenient for an overnight stay close to the airport.

Great and convenient stay.
Pros:

This place is really great. The proximity to the airport, the green features, the staff, the attention to details. Really everything ! The shuttle was also a great added bonus. Would stay here again 100%, very worth the amount for everything that’s offered.
