Pros:

A brilliantly located hotel without any pretention to 'boutique' status. The rooms are ideal for those not seeking luxury on a a shoestring budget. The breakfasts are perfect (subject to comments about the toaster).

Cons:

The location of the toaster at the breakfast buffet causes unnecessary queues and so blocks others from getting near to some food items - it should be relocated or the positoning of food items rethought (it was better in the past).
I'm slightly concerned about the security of the left luggage cupboard if the Receptionist isn't present or is dealing with guests.

Very nice stay in the old town of Heraklion
Pros:

Location is 10/10. Staff is nice and friendly. Because of the location the room was clean but a little bit noisy but when we closed the window we couldn't hear anything of the streetnoise. Yes, the bathroom is small but it's completely bearable.
Breakfast was also good for 5 Euros.
