Pros:

Excellent séjour pour notre voyage de noces ! Le personnel était attentionné, toujours souriant et serviable. Le bol de soba offert du soir était un vrai plus. Beaucoup de choix pour le petit déjeuner qui était très bon. Les bains, la chambre et l'intérieur du ryokan nous ont permis de nous évader et de nous reposer !

混雑してても対応できるようにしてて、待ち時間もアメニティみたり浴衣選んだり楽しめました！
誕生日サプライズで美味しいホールケーキも注文できて、配慮がとても嬉しかったです。
館内も床が気持ちよく、素足で歩けて良いです。
温泉もお食事も満足！！！

Cons:

美味しいもの食べ過ぎて1日で２キロ増えたことくらいです（笑）

Wonderful, rejuvenating onsen resort on the Izu peninsula. Highly recommend!
Pros:

We loved this whole experience and would return. We enjoyed the shoe-free environment and kimono robes, as well as the restaurant buffet. The private onsen rooms were incredible and we may have tried them all. Walking in town at night to the bamboo grove was a treat and the sound of the river was soothing. This was a great breather between our Tokyo and Osaka stays and wonderful for families, couples and solo travelers.

Pros:

Erg leuk en sfeervol dorpje. Ontbijt en diner zeer uitgebreid, lekker en hilarisch. Allemaal in je Yukata of andere hotelkleding en op sokken in de eetzaal. Geweldig om mee te maken. Uitstekende bedden, prima badkamer en alles in het hotel aanwezig. Let op: het is een schoenvrij en slippervrij hotel. Dat betekent dat je bij de receptie je schoenen in een kluisje plaatst en op sokken verder gaat. Dat zorgt wel dat alles goed schoon blijft. Al met al gewoon een fijn verblijf.

Cons:

Enigszins massaal bij ontbijt en diner. En laatste binnenkomst bij ontbijt is 8.30u. Da’s best vroeg….. Je kunt wel tot 9:30u ontbijten.

Great property - lots of fun, great location and food.
Pros:

Great location near quaint town. The property has great amenities (private onsen, convenience store, etc.). The buffet was tasty. A large property with nice staff. You do need to take off your shoes throughout the property - great as long as you have no issues walking with just socks. I would stay here again.

Cons:

Large property with a very large dining room. Very tasty - not romantic.

Pros:

Petit déjeuner et diner au top, tout à disposition dans l'hôtel (supérette, machine à jeux, tennis de table) !
Et surtout la possibilité d'avoir accès à des Onsen privatifs !

A highlight of our Japan trip!
Pros:

We had an amazing, relaxing stay! We had just spent a very busy week in Kyoto so this felt like a pampered, relaxing break for my teen daughter and I. We didn’t use the Onsen (my daughter wasn’t keen), but we took advantage of the rest of the facilities (table tennis, free drinks at certain times of the day, massage chairs, free bathroom amenities etc). We enjoyed exploring the different areas.

Our twin Japanese style room was beautiful and we loved waking up to the birds singing. We fell in love with the town nearby - particularly the hot water Onsen footbaths on either side of the river. We opted for half board and loved walking around the buffets trying the different Japanese food (as well as the western offerings), for breakfast and dinner. For lunch, we picked up food from the 711 nearby.

To get there we caught the Shinkensen from Kyoto to Mishima, a local train to Shuzenji Onsen (no Suica allowed so use the machines to pay in cash), then the C10 bus to close to the hotel. It is a wonderful, quiet place for tourists to visit, off the usual routes.

This hotel and town was a highlight of our whole trip - can recommend staying 2 nights to really relax.

Cons:

Nothing - we loved everything. The staff were wonderful!
