Needs some updating

Bedroom bathroom,not enough sockets also not very clean.

The entire hotels carpet is smelly including the room we stayed in, one of the glass doors of the window is broken and not fixed, we could hear the main road noise all the time because of that, Only one power socket for the entire room, Aircon was not working- extremely hot the whole night, the hair dryer won’t work, there was a leak or something from the roof in the middle of the breakfast area so staff kept a black bucket to catch the water which was disturbing while having breakfast in the morning.

It was dirty, carpets ripped, bathroom was disgusting dusty. Sliding windows were broken so couldn’t shut them.

Grubby stairs, grubby entrance to the building. Filthy windows and balcony. Outdated decor and outdated wet room, also unsafe. Moody maintenance man serving breakfast in the morning who was more than happy to advise the place is shutting down for a refurbishment in 5 weeks and he is retiring.

shower grouting could have done with a good scrub, and room walls a bit of a refresh, there was a person on the stairs smoking I don’t think they were anything to do with the hotel,
the only entrance didn’t look very inviting.

The standard of cleanliness, It doesn’t exist. From the front door to the very bed it was disgusting. Dusty, stained, walls stained, bedding hairy with no mattress protector. Mould. What seemed to be out of someone’s nose smeared across the walls. Windows filthy. Shower mouldy and not clean. Curtains stinking. Rooms dusty and tv remote dirty with no back. The iron we requested was black with the ironing board completely rotten leaving the white shirts stained with black speckles all over. The smell of the bedroom alone. The hallways disgusting and rubbish lying about. Carpets stained. Lifts broken. VERY unsanitary. Reviews on google from us leaving just say it all, a problem for years and nothings been done about it. The pictures they use online are from a fantasy idea of what we all wished we had of used our money on for accommodation.

The property is in very poor condition, holes in walls, stains in carpets, heavy mould in bath rooms

The place was an absolute shit hole. We only stayed one night we checked in on the 15th. We checked out on the 16th. I want a refund.

Still only 1 lift working, the rooms are functional but looking a bit tired & need a bit of maintenance.
The cleaning needs to be checked before new guests check in. This time there were cigarette filters, hair grips & buttons all in the bathroom.
