Disappointed
Pros:

The hotel was close to the Kambaku Golf course which is what we really wanted. But other than that it did not really live up to the photos we saw on the internet.

Cons:

It was dark, and didnt feel safe. I dont think it should be rated 5 stars. However the bed was ok and the room was lovely and warm.

One night in Komatipoort.
Pros:

We had one of the best meals at the restaurant. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We left early in the morning and didn't have breakfast, which I think would have been a good idea. The staff packed us a bag with sandwiches, fruit and yoghurt.

The restaurant and garden are really stunning. Beautiful trees, pool and water feature.

Cons:

We have no complaints.

Schönes Hotel das mit etwas besserem Service optimal sein könnte.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel.

Cons:

Man sollte wohl besser am angrenzenden Restaurant essen. Wir mussten mehr als eine Stunde warten und das Essen kam lauwarm auf den Tisch.

We have stayed here several times before and have always enjoyed the setting and overall atmosphere. The staff were consistently warm, friendly and helpful, which we genuinely appreciated.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the property appears to have declined in maintenance. The air conditioning unit in our room was not working, the remote was taped together, and the toilet seat was broken. The pillows are old and lumpy and need replacing. Overall, the room felt tired and in need of attention.
