Great location! Large room, clean. A 5-minute walk to the Maxwell Food Centre (incredibly delicious Chinese food, the best coffee), Korean BBQ restaurants and a supermarket just a stone’s throw away, good transport links
Prices at the Rooftop Bar

The location was good as it is close to Duxton Road restaurants and bars and a short walk to Maxwell MRT and Food Centre. Supermarket directly across the road. The Room was very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The bed and pillows were firm yet comfortable and the room had great electric block out blinds and privacy curtains. The blind & curtain switches are located next to the ‘many’ light switches. The pool was a decent size (but didn’t use it due to the weather) and it also has a compact but good gym. The food at Plate on Level 3 was good. My room had access to the Club Lounge & mini bar which was a bonus during my stay. The Hotel also has a nice rooftop bar.
Just a couple of small issues - The breakfast in the Club Lounge could have been better - I assumed it would have been à la carte but it was a small buffet. Some dishes were cold and there weren’t a lot of options to choose from. The food looked like it had sat in the Bain-Marie for hours which was disappointing for a Club lounge. I had to request for boiled eggs or omelette as the scrambled eggs available did not look edible. I don’t know what the buffet breakfast was like on the 3rd floor but I would assume you may get more options and warmer dishes.
The toilet in my room was a smart toilet but it would turn on at random times even during the night which was frustrating when trying to sleep.
The light switches - so many of them and the Master light switch did not turn off all the lights when in bed so you have to go around and turn off the lamps and a light on the other side of the bed.
Other than these minor issues, it was rather a pleasant stay.
