The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property.

Room facilities, bathroom and bedding were very good. Staff excellent as well.
Location was a little away from main attractions but close to MRT. Rooftop bar ambiance needs improvement.
Location was ideal.
Booking.com stated that the caution deposit would be SGD 100 and would be refunded after check-out. However, at check-in, the front desk staff insisted on charging SGD 200, even after we showed the Booking.com message. Despite this, they still collected SGD 200. This was misleading and caused inconvenience!
Handy location to shopping (luggage was delayed so needed to buy emergency supplies). Was really handy that they had toothbrushes and toothpaste supplied! Staff were very helpful with booking taxis and providing scissors etc.
Great that the room had ironing board and iron too, plus slippers and bathrobes. Great choice of tv channels and streaming services. Fast wifi too. Room was clean and nice big shower and well appointed bathroom with hair dryer and make up/shaving mirror, well lit. Filtered water tap provided. Coffee pod machine also provided.
Not the property's fault, but location seemed not well serviced by taxis. We waited nearly 15 minutes for taxi to airport in early morning (booked for us by the hotel).
Nice, clean and modern. Has a n outdoor swimming pool and a small gym. It’s a 4 to 5-star hotel at a reasonable price. Location is convenient , walkable distance to Chinatown, and one of the major food markets there. about 5min walk to a Green Line MRT stop. There’s a nice restaurant on site, apparently providing good weekend buffets serving Chinese food with seafood and roast pig - we didn’t try it but it looked popular. Also, good security to the rooms.

Even the front desk was like not so friendly. I go to malaysia hotels and they welcome and treat us so warmly. But at carlton i just feel like i was being judged.

Gopala, Elaine and Deva are very warm, friendly and attentive. The waitress also cleared the plates promptly.
