Friendly , clean and great location
Downstairs are is very functional, not too welcoming. Also prices at the bar are far too high . Glass of Merlot £14 across the road at very friendly bar it was £9 !!! Just as good too
Due to the air traffic control issue my flight wqs cancelled and I had to find a room at very short notice, not too far from Gatwick. The location was perfect, hotel clean, staff nice.
The food was disappointing
Located very close to the train station. Staff were very friendly and efficiently handled the check-in. Room was larger than I expected for the price and the bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was very small, and similar to that you'd find on a ship/ferry. This felt very out of place when the room was of a decent size.

A but cramped
The location of the hotel is good for commuters. Its next to the station and easy to find.
The entrance was dirty and not looked after. The bar area was again unclean and just very tired looking. Our room on first inspection was adequate but once we settled in things changed. There were long black hairs in the bathroom, we are both bald. I requested extra pillows after being emailed by the hotel to find they werent provided. The TV didnt work. The bathroom was okay but needed a wipe down before use. The air con was not worth installing. It didnt work properly in fact at one point felt like it blowing warm air. It also had a continued noise that was not acceptable and meant it couldnt be left on at night. To escape the room we went to the bar and ordered a bottle of wine, no wine glasses available! The cost of the room meant that it should have supplied a higher level of service and comfort. We would not have breakfast in the hotel as everything just looked grubby. The young lady that checked us in was very pleasant but there were around 6 staff wandering around and going into a back room. People were waiting to check in, a couple were at the bar and the place needed cleaning. maybe some of them could of actually worked

A socket or two near the bed would have been useful.
Das Hotel liegt in direkter Nähe zum Bahnhof. Ein Supermarkt und zahlreiche Cafes, Imbisse sind in der Nähe. Zum Wasser läuft man ca. 15-20 Minuten. Das Zimmer war schön groß. Das Bett bequem.
Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
