For an Ibis Budget hotel, it exceeded our expectations.
The room was very clean and comfortable if a little basic however we expected this for the price and we only stayed for one night. It was also quiet and we didn't hear any noise in the night despite England playing in the world cup during the early hours so we were pleasantly surprised. We also had a superb view over Leeds city centre as our room aws high up at the front of the hotel.
We also enjoyed the breakfast the following morning it is continental but good quality and we enjoyed cereal, toast, croissant with jam, orange juice, yogurt and muffins as well as tea and coffee.
Staff were very nice and friendly and replaced breakfast items promptly.
It's a bit of a walk from the nearest car park on the city docks especially if you have heavy bags but not too bad.
It's about a 10-15 min walk into the retail part of the centre where there are pubs and restaurants and we got a bit lost returning to the hotel.
It was clean and comfortable and staff were outstanding.
Breakfast was excellent 👌 would have like sausage and bacon but I didn't ask.
There was a smell in the shower was like gas but other than that it was lovely.
Thanks for a comfortable bed for the night
See above
Room was clean
No parking. Very cheap. Budget hotel is right
The room that we got was perfect with the fun bunk bed over the double with 5th floor room with a great view
No on site parking needing to lug bags over to ncp but not end of world issue
Close to centre only
The room lacked basic amenities. There was no drinking water, no telephone to contact the reception desk, even in case of an emergency, and no refrigerator.
For the breakfast = 2/10
The hotel and reception staff were first class, but found for this hotel that the booking system was confusing. I have booked many times with BDC and have never had a problem . The confusion came when the price advertised wasn’t for the dates that I wanted . I was booking from home for my son who was at the hotel reception , fortunately the young man at the reception desk kindly helped . Once booked , the stay was really good.
Confusing prices and would have been better if it was made clearer wether breakfast was included.
Location.
Car parking.
It was clean
The room was supposed to sleep three but one bed was unusable for an adult
Location amazing for Leeds Playhouse!
Got lost using the stairs and ended up in the locked underground car park! Not clearly signed and used an unpleasant stairwell.
It was close to everything and staff were helpful
The shower had a really bad smell and the walls and bed frame were dirty. We also booked a month in advance and requested two rooms near each other. One was on the fourth floor and one was on the seventh.
The mattress was horribly uncomfortable.
Naught
Lifts not working, rooms tired, breakfast not worth the money and extremely slow restocking
Location was good for Leeds city centre and the hotel was clean nd tidy. Staff were helpful
No tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Lack of plug sockets next to beds
