Close to National Express bus terminal
No air conditioning. It was stifling and very uncomfortable. Lack of charging points.
Staff are very helpful and accommodating and there is a space to wait if you’re boarding a cruise in the afternoon. 12pm checkout is a huge plus as well.
Closeness to the cruise pier
The a/c was broken and wouldn’t be fixed for another week. The instructions for the alternative “air handler” didn’t work after 2 hours of waiting. I went to the front desk because the phone wasn’t working and after telling the reluctant maintenance person it wasn’t working he had to follow me up to see for himself. “Oh must be a fuse”. Never was fixed. He also couldn’t fix the phone which I discovered there was an on/off switch on the wall.
Well run, clean and tidy. Ideal for shops and eating alternatives.

Rooms were extremely small and not very clean.
Good selection on the continental breakfast table, which was well laid out and easy to self serve. Staff were friendly and helpful and a real credit to the business. Room was comfortable and online with expectations of the price and 'budget' styled accommodation. Location was excellent for the train station and city centre facilities.
A little noisy in the early hours of the morning, but this was due to taxis dropping off in the carpark and outside sources - the hotel itself was quiet and calm within.
Clean and comfortable. Hot shower,tv worked.Quiet even though my room was across from McDonald's drive through.5 mins from train station.Thanks to staff member who let me check in a wee bit earlier than I should have as room was ready.
