Not gonna come again
Pros:

The view was lovely, and the reception staff member who assisted with our check-in was very friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, our experience at check-out was completely different. We had struggled with no hot water for the entire night, and when we raised the issue, the staff member simply said that after 10:00 pm there was no one available to help. Her attitude made it seem as though this was normal and that we should simply accept it.

Having no hot water during a winter stay is unacceptable, particularly when no assistance was available overnight. The way our concern was handled at check-out was disappointing and lacked empathy.

Because of this experience, I would not recommend this motel to friends or family travelling to Tasmania.

Nice room for the price paid, just what we needed to enjoy our time away and have somewhere to rest.

Great location and value for money
Pros:

Nice and close to Mystate Bank Arena is great. The ducks are awesome. I bought some wild bird feed and fed them. The staff were very friendly. The room was nice and clean. Shower was great too.

Unfortunately, my meal in the restaurant was average.

Fabulous
Pros:

Location is fantastic, room basic but good amount of plug sockets for all you need charging these days. Bed was clean, comfy and we had a great sleep, I thought the heater wouldn’t be much cop but how wrong I was we was lovely and toasty all night. Millie made us very welcome in the bar/restaurant last night and this morning. Happy hour was great but pizza was perfect and breakfast this morning big thumbs up. The ducks came to visit this morning before we left so cute. We felt so welcomed and had an amazing time, thank you.

No water in the fridge is the only thing that would have added to it.
