Clean bed linen and towels. Not too noisy. Ensuite room.
No kettle in room, no tea or coffee making facilities.
Bed was soft but pillows could do renewing I needed to fold mine but more could be gathered from the front desk. The lighting in the room was nice and had intuitive controls. 4 hangers and more than enough hooks for hats and coats, with a full body mirror and another right angled one above the sink, great for self care or applying makeup
There was a cold, almost hospital like feeling to the room. Air conditioning in all 3 of my parties rooms didn't work, all in different ways. The shower and toilet spaces were rather small, I'm 5'11 and rather skinny but still struggled to fit/feel comfortable and move around, so if you're on the larger size, you may end up having to do a sink wash. Sound proofing between rooms didn't seem bad, but it did bled into the hallway. I had a corner room and could hear the outside rather well so maybe bring earplugs unless you don't mind city noises
From first arriving we were made very welcome in the hotel, we arrived a few hours early so they let us leave our bags in a safe area so we didn't have to carry them about with us.
The room itself is basic, but what do you expect for the price.
Double bed and bunk bed above it was ideal for the 3 of us and our 10 year old son loved it.
Plenty of towels and the bed was firm but comfortable.
They have a pool table and its free for people staying so that's another bonus,.
All in all a good stay.

No kettle in room
The bed was particularly clean. I like how they have used the space. Given that it is a "budget" hotel, I would not expect a lot. It was good value for money.
The corridor smelled pretty bad. The first night, the room also smelled, but it was okay on the second night. The vent in the toilet was also not working.
The room was refurbished and was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was tight as the refurb is ongoing but I managed to get a space and £10 for 24 hours is reasonable. Quiet room was good as faced the car park not the
Would have liked to have a kettle in the room but that's not the spec. The curry place across the room - it wasn't great. Another time I'd pick something up from Morrisons next door.
Staff are great and it’s a good location
Air con didn’t work so room was stuffy, no pressure on the shower so could barely wash my hair. I think it’s actually worth spending an extra 20£ and getting a better hotel
I cannot fault the staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nazeer I can mention by name because he helped me print some important documents. But all staff were top notch. The room was clean.
Maybe my expectations were too high, maybe that's on me. I did book the cheapest room I could find. But a few things did stand out: The tiny tiny desk with not even a chair but a cheap plastic stool. The room was clean but everything was tatty and worn out. Little details like not even providing a glass but cardboard coffee cups. The toilet was clean but run-down and crusty. No kettle, no tea and coffee. Bedding felt cheap and nasty. No power outlets by the bed which just seems mad! No cooked breakfast available at all. The whole hotel felt depressing, tacky and nasty. It was so weird buying bottles of beer from the front desk. Adverts for 24 hour pizza and beer just makes the whole place seems trashy.
I understand I picked the cheapest room possible I just didn't know how low standards were for a cheap room. I would have paid more, without hesitation, for a better room with more creature comforts. It just wasn't clear how little I was getting for my money.
Clean bed. Nice shower. Good value. Nice staff. Food and drink in lobby.
No air conditioning. No tea or coffee in room.
Where is English breakfast.
Coffee, a croissant and a salad plus a tiny room with a window like a prison, and it costs almost 100 euros.
They also ask for feedback.
I arrived early and they charged me an extra 100 euros per night. It seems the staff doesn't care about prices. Judging by the door placement, all the rooms are the same size. So why charge such a high price for a room and claim it's better than others? Why the width of the bed?
Does the "budget" in the hotel name mean 100 euros???
It's a shame I was in a hurry; I could have booked a good hotel with a decent breakfast. Instead of going to the store after breakfast at the hotel.
Location and price
It was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was amazing and clean and a really good shower. The TV was surprisingly good with a lot of features. Around 10m walk from new street station too.
The room was great but a bit small. Its not completely in city centre. Wish there was a mini fridge.
