The hotel is grubby , dated and was an absolute mess.
The position was very convenient since I had a congress at the Lowry and it’s very close to the tram stop.
The carpet in the halls stank really bad.
My room didn’t have a plug near the bed.
Didn’t serve the typical English breakfast!

Room is small but you get what you pay for. It was all very clean and tidy. Staff was always friendly and helpful and got us a iron and an iron table so we could get our clothers presentable (we were going for a wedding).
The room is very small, specially the toilet. But this was expected for the price we paid and type of hotel we've chosen. nothing to complain about.

The staff were really friendly and helpful especially with our toddler. They ensured everyone in our group had rooms nextdoor to eachother.
If you go bearing in mind that you are staying in a budget hotel, the size and the fact you don't have tea, coffee etc in your room won't be a problem. (Free tea and coffee were at reception)
The room, towels and sheets were clean and stain free, so we were happy.
One of our rooms hadn't been cleaned properly but a new room was given immediately. The other rooms were exceptionally clean.
