I would like to express my disappointment regarding an extremely unpleasant experience I had at your hotel.
First of all, I would like to thank the lounge employee who was polite, professional, and helpful. She noticed that I had left my headphones on a chair and kindly informed me about it. I truly appreciate her attentiveness and customer-oriented attitude.
Unfortunately, everything that followed completely ruined my impression of the hotel.
Another staff member approached me and spoke in a very rude, arrogant, and condescending manner. Instead of simply returning my headphones, she began talking about various “checks,” brought them out in some kind of bag, and demanded identification documents and signatures before I could receive my own property.
I honestly have to ask: where exactly am I? A luxury hotel or an airport security checkpoint?
Do guests never accidentally leave personal belongings behind? Why should I have to prove ownership of my own headphones that I left in the lounge only a short time earlier?
I had just come back from the beach and was expected to provide documents and complete procedures simply to retrieve my own belongings. This was not only inconvenient but completely unreasonable. The entire situation felt absurd.
What upset me even more was the employee’s attitude. Rather than assisting a guest, she treated me as though I had done something wrong. I felt interrogated instead of helped.
Later, I noticed this same employee discussing the situation with colleagues at the reception desk. Afterward, several staff members looked at me with obvious disdain and judgmental expressions. This was extremely uncomfortable and highly unprofessional. Hotel employees should be focused on welcoming guests and providing excellent service, not gossiping about customers among themselves.
We stay at your hotel regularly and spend a considerable amount of money here. That is exactly why this experience was so shocking.
