Please note that the property can only be accessed via steep and narrow stairs.

Double or twin beds request is subject to the guest’s arrival.

Canal view rooms are not available upon request; a special type of room needs to be booked in order to get the canal view.

Business trip to Amsterdam
Pros:

Location near to the central train station, the street where the hotel is located is very nice and full of shops and restaurants, perfect for a walk.

Cons:

Room was very small, almost the smallest I ever found (the smallest was in Tokio)

Hier ist die Lage alles. Wer zentral möchte, bekommt genau das.
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und der Bahnhof ist schnell zu erreichen. Das Zimmer und die Bettwäsche/Handtücher waren sauber. Die Nasszelle, wenn auch winzig, schien neu renoviert. Sehr nettes Personal, wir konnten früher einchecken und bei Abreise unsere Koffer kostenlos unterstellen. Die steile Treppe runter zum Gepäckraum ist jedoch eine Herausforderung und nicht ungefährlich.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr schmal, klein und beengt. Winziger Nassraum mit Falttür, winziges Waschbecken im Zimmer. Keine Haken für Handtücher. Sehr hellhörig. Steile Treppen. Ich verstehe, dass dies ein altes Grachtenhaus ist und die baulichen Gegebenheiten sich anpassen müssen, dennoch war unser Zimmer beengter als erwartet. Für einen sehr kurzen Aufenthalt mag es ok sein, hier bezahlt man für die Lage. Preis-Leistung hinsichtlich der Ausstattung der Zimmer nicht wirklich stimmig.

Hotels in Amsterdam are really expensive, so in that context this one was OK. The location was great
Pros:

The location was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast (included) was good.
Good house bar on site.

Cons:

The room was very small. Hardly sufficient space for us and our luggage. We also had a room at the front, facing the street. And it was party time, and really noisy, but that didn’t last too late in the evening so wasn’t a problem.

Hotel centralissimo, comodo sia per la stazione centrale che per passeggiare per il centro di Amsterdam. Personale gentile e disponibili e deposito bagagli presente sia prima del check in che dopo il check out

Cons:

Il lavandino del bagno era un po troppo piccolo e la stanza un po rumorosa! Purtroppo non dipende dall’hotel ma dai clienti che a volte urlavano per i corridoi, però le stanze non sono molto insonorizzate

terrible experience in this hotel, the very small room could not be opened completely, the bathroom door collided with the corner of one of the beds, without space to store clothes, you have to keep them on the flap all the time, without air conditioning and WORSE, their beds have foam rubber mattresses larger than the base and if you approach the edge while asleep, you fall to the floor because the mattress is very light, the room and the bathroom look dirty, the control The TV didn't work. The only good thing is its location but DEFINITELY the price value of the room is very bad

Walking distance to everything in the city
Pros:

Excellent location and very comfortable beds! Rooms are tight but provided exactly what we needed for a few a days in the area. Staff were all very kind and helpful and the bar/restaurant downstairs was a fun addition!

Cons:

The stairs are difficult and luggage storage is very crowded. We were able to manage okay, but something to consider for anyone who may have multiple/heavy bags or mobility issues!

Alles in allem ein sehr angenehmes Hotel, für Kurzreisen perfekt, für länger vielleicht weniger.
Pros:

Es war alles sehr sauber, das Zimmer (Einzel) fast ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Lage war perfekt, das Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut.
Um das Hotel herum gibt es sehr viele Lokale.

Cons:

Im Zimmer wäre ein Wasserkocher und ein Kühlschrank fein gewesen. Leider sind die Wände extrem hellhörig, man hört die Nachbarn telefonieren und Fernsehen, und das auch mitten in der Nacht.
