The Castillo Rojo is a lovely, quiet and comfortable hotel located in a great area. We only stayed one night but it was great!

The location was perfect! My son and I loved the neighborhood, with its beautiful street art, great restaurants, and easy access to major attractions. We always felt safe walking around the area, which made exploring even more enjoyable.
The hotel's breakfast was excellent and the perfect way to start each day. The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. They arranged an early check-in, a late check-out, and assisted with our airport transportation, which was especially helpful since we stayed at the hotel both at the beginning and end of our trip to Chile.
Our room was comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed, with complimentary bottled water and a great shower. We enjoyed our stay so much that we canceled the other hotel we had booked for the end of our trip and chose to stay here again instead.
I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again on a future visit to Chile.

O banheiro ficou molhado após o banho. O box não vedou a água por completo, e a descarga do vaso sanitário fica saindo água por muito tempo após ser acionada, levando ao desperdício!
Mas nada a ponto de denegrir a imagem do hotel, que inclusive voltaria a ele.
Lovely boutique hotel. Convenient location with lots of nearby restaurants. Very helpful staff provided advice and logistics help around Santiago, excursions and airport transfers. Arrival transfer was seamless. The evening happy hours were a great opportunity to meet other guests and share experiences on many aspects of a Chilean vacation.
The location is great, close to lots of restaurants and La Chascona. I liked being able to immediately find great food and drinks close by, and the neighborhood is pretty. Overall, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and I liked the historic nature of the hotel. However, the scent in the room from the plug in fragrance was very heavy. The hotel also does not have a pool or elevator and we had to ask for hot water for tea because the carafe was empty. The courtyard surrounding the hotel is locked, which is a plus for safety and a minus for convenience - we had to keep asking to be let in. I think for the price I’d rather stay in a more modern hotel in Santiago with a pool, but I think Castillo Rojo is great for first-time visitors to the city. The patio is beautiful and they serve wine at happy hour. Staff were accommodating and helpful but seemed stressed out.
We had a great stay at Castillo Rojo. We were 3 couples traveling back from Antarctica. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable, we were all able to gather together in the lounge on the 2nd floor, and enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee. The hotel was conveniently located to all the sites we wanted to see, with great restaurants an easy walk away. And the breakfast was excellent!! Would highly recommend!
Extremely helpful and professional staff, beautiful dining area and outdoor cocktail area, wonderful breakfasts, which were complimentary and lovely attendance in the restaurant and bar also ! Great location to many restaurants and bars and walking distance to the gondola! Great Stay!

Trata-se de um casarão histórico, com localização excelente, próximo do Patio Bellavista e do funicular. O quarto amplo, com boas camas e enxoval. O banheiro era espaçoso e com um chuveiro muito bom. O café da manhã é servido pelos funcionários, os quais são educados e atenciosos. Há água, café e chá à disposição. O happy hour, com uma taça de vinho de cortesia, merece destaque.
A mim não afetou, mas deve ficar claro que não há elevadores, o que pode dificultar a hospedagem para algumas pessoas.
La ubicación entretenida en el corazón de Bellavista, el mejor sector y el encanto del hotel. Muy lindo, balcones encantadores, salitas, todo muy cálido y acogedor. Se siente como retroceder en el tiempo. La ducha muy bien.
El estacionamiento se ve muy descuidado como tipo botadero de escombros. Podrían arreglarlo un poquito.
Gostamos de tudo mesmo. O fato de não ter elevador, porque o prédio é um antigo castelo e tombado pelo patrimônio histórico da cidade, não faz a mínima falta. Nosso quarto foi tudo de bom. Os funcionários são muito atentos e atenciosos, dedicados, todos sem exceção!!!!!!!
