Pros:

The room was spacious, clean and homely. Housekeeping was friendly, courteous and always willing to help with any housekeeping requests.

The staff at breakfast were always friendly and helpful.

The gym in the 5th floor is surprisingly large, housing nearly all the equipment needed to perform an overall good workout. It’s managed well and there’s even a fridge with bottles of water for the patrons to take for free.

Security is fantastic and I love that our bags are checked on return from a day /night out.

Reception was excellent, especially Misan who helped to secure my room for one more night when Air Peace rescheduled my flight for the following night. Misan is a star 🔥

Cons:

Sugar 52 Lounge pool area is lovely but the other side of the pool was being renovated I believe. I hope this is concluded soon.

Pros:

Always a lovely experience at Lagos Continental. The staff are always polite and so helpful.

Housekeeping is always very good. Particularly enjoyed the service of Chinonso Anozie. Super helpful

There are no second chance for first impression
Cons:

I am very disappointed with how this hotel handled our situation. I had to cancel due to a serious family medical emergency and provided medical documentation as evidence. Despite this, the hotel refused to waive the cancellation fee, explaining it as a matter of revenue loss.
From my perspective, this response showed a complete lack of empathy and human understanding. In a situation involving a potential threat to my wife’s pregnancy and health, it was upsetting to see that revenue appeared to matter more than basic compassion and flexibility.
I understand that hotels have policies, but exceptional circumstances should be treated with at least some degree of humanity. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this property.

Pros:

Wonderful stay and experience at the hotel. Especially at the pool side and bar, buffet breakfast, gym and great housekeeping activities.
My profound regards to CHINONSO ANOZIE for his commendable stewardship and personality.

Excellent minus the food

Staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable

Cons:

The breakfast buffet. The food was very mediocre in terms of taste and options. Not great quality. I think that in order to serve the high volume of guests they have taste and quality have been compromised.
