Ein großartiges Hotel in hervorragender Lage mit einem besonders freundlichen und serviceorientierte
Pros:

Ganz tolles Hotel mit einem freundlichen und netten Serviceteam. Mein zimmer war größer, als erwartet. Frühstück und Angebot im Restarant sind reichhaltig und hochwertig.

Das Personal

Cons:

Das Hotel kommt immer mehr in die Jahre. Beispiel Sauna.
Das Frühstücksangebot ist zum grossen Teil Massenwaare, wie sie überall auch in einfachen Unterkünften zu finden ist, Beispiel Süsswaren- und Kuchenangebot (Billigstware).
Natursäfte wie noch vor ein, zwei Jahren, werden werden gar nicht mehr angeboten.
Das Brot ist weich von der Luftfeuchtigkeit und aus Plastiksäcken (nur getostet geniessbar), Käseplatte Massenware usw.
Überall wird gespart.
Der Name Steigenberger und dann noch „Maxx“ war einmal.

ev. kommen wir wieder für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt

Frühstück ist sehr gut, besonders Ei-Omelett und Birchermüsli, Bei der Suche nach unserem Zimmer, begegneten wir einem Art Hausmeister, der sich unserer annahm, uns zu unserem Zimmer führte und auch ein Trinkgeld für den Gepäcktransport ablehnte. Lage zu U-Bahn und Straßenbahn sehr gut, auch mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen.

Cons:

Beim Checkin, bat ich um ein Zimmer zum Innenhof, was abgenickt wurde, aber dem nicht entsprochen wurde. Im Zimmer gibt es keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten, nur zum Hängen, was bei einer Nacht kein Problem ist, bei 4 Nächten aber schon, wenn man nur aus dem Koffer leben muss. Garage ist auch für Wien relativ teuer, wird aber durch einen günstigen Zimmerpreis ausgeglichen. Der Spiegel im Bad hatte in den Ecken monatealte Spinnweben, die nicht entfernt wurden.
