Adorable and spacious place, great location
Pros:

This was a spacious studio apartment! The kitchen was full service with all amenities. There was even a tea kettle! The bathroom was adorable with its claw foot tub and hanging wrap-around shower curtain. One wall of the bathroom had built-in cabinets and drawers with a large, angled mirror. There were two more mirrors in the bathroom as well. Even with 3 people showering, the hot water never ran out.

There were a delightful number of dishes and cookware, and enough counter space to make a full meal, even with the 2-burner stove. Management is strict about not scratching their non-stick pans, consequently the pans were in excellent shape. The bed was comfortable, and my teenaged son said the couch was "good".

We stayed here two nights; location in town is excellent, the double door codes were a nice safety feature (street door to the building and our studio door), and being on the second floor, we felt secure leaving the windows open for fresh air while we slept or were away.

This place was the perfect accommodation for our trip to Seward, and I would stay here again.

Cons:

We liked it all, but I would have enjoyed a small desk lamp to read at the table. I also moved the small table into the kitchen for dining, so perhaps management could add a small, rolling island? I would have liked to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for makeup as well.

מיקום מצוין חדר הניקיון ואוויזרים טובים מאוד
Cons:

Good location, cute decor and finishings
Pros:

Cute property, we had a corner room and could see a bit of the ocean from one window and mountain from the other. Main bed was comfy. Bathroom and linens were well appointed. Location was great, could walk to the water/sea life center and shops/restaurants easily. Had lunch and dinner at the brewery. Food was good.

Cons:

The shower situation was a bit tricky with the clawfoot tub and the surround shower curtain. I ended up not using it as I didn't want water to get everywhere. I get trying to keep everything historic in this old building but a more traditional shower would be more useful. Also the bistro table and stools are kind of crammed in. Not sure what else could be done to take up less space but they just kind of seemed in the way. My son said the futon was not super comfortable.

Pros:

Amazing location right in the downtown of Seward away from the marina crowds. The apartment was clean and cozy with nice amenities. We travelled with 2 other families and our apartment was a nice space for hanging out with a group. The Rowdy Radish coffee shop downstairs was a charming place for coffee and breakfast.

Cons:

A charming place, just know what you are getting into. It is vintage/old, so the set-up is different than staying in a modern home or a hotel. We had a one bedroom for 4 people. The bedroom was great but the other beds were not ideal - - one twin bed was in a closet off of the living room. This was fine for our teenager but not sure how an adult would feel. The other two beds were couches in the living room. Also, as other reviewers pointed out, it is at the top of a flight of stairs in case anyone has mobility issues (it was fine for us). We made it work and loved the location and the town!

Cozy Seward Stay
Pros:

Great location and easily able to walk to restaurants, shopping, Alaska Sealife Center, Resurrection Bay and more. Bed was very comfortable. Very cute space for short stay.

Cons:

Ideally this space would be best for two guests. The second bed is a futon (full size) and very hard. There was a mattress pad provided but unfortunately it didn't help like we had hoped. Also, would not recommend for any minor mobility issues. I was aware there wasn't an elevator, but the stairs are steep and one member of my party who is over 65 with a knee issue struggled. Also make sure you can lift your own luggage!

Lastly, I would recommend they list the person who is the onsite contact in the booking information rather than the owner. I had tried reaching out for assistance prior to our arrival via the name and phone number provided. It said texts preferred so I sent a text, but never heard back. When we arrived, I learned on the info sheet that this number that was provided is someone that lives in the Eastern Time Zone and not the onsite contact. I wish that person would have just responded with who I needed to contact instead.

Beautiful location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Great location. The staff was also very on top of everything.

Cons:

We had a drag our suitcases up the stairs. And the property was a little old. Not much room in the bathroom to put our toiletries.

Easy and cozy with a good location
Pros:

Cozy older building quite central to everything. Easy with the codes and great communication.
The team went above and beyond to help us, when we had forgotten some items!

Cons:

If you are into the minimalist, very modern style, then this is not the place. But if you appreciate a cozy, homely atmosphere with a touch of artistic flair, then this would be a good choice.
