Struttura molto bella camera spaziosa e personale gentile
Ottima colazione
Amazing breakfast buffet
Struttura tipicamente provenzale, caratteristica e ben fornita.
The housekeeping people (not the owners) were very kind and did a fabulous job.
Where to start? Not one aspect of the stay was comfortable in our “comfort double room”.
-There are “conveniently” no images posted of the bathroom for the room we stayed in online - because it is beyond crap. There is an old bath with a shower hose - and no shower head holder. So it’s impossible for anyone to take a shower and wash their hair, shave, do anything which would require more than one hand. (Also no shower curtain so the floor floods as well) I asked the male hotel owner after our first night if there was anything he could do to which he replied no. I explained that it’s really disappointing because if I had known I couldn’t wash my hair for three nights I simply wouldn’t have booked. He then told my husband to “talk to her please” - in a way that he obviously intended to be “control your woman” and then when I asked him to repeat what he said, he told me to “be quiet, you’re on holiday”. I was, and still am, shocked by his patronising and chauvinistic manner of talking to guests.
-15 minutes before our arrival, we were called by the female hotel owner and told angrily in French that the reception was closing and demanded where we were (at 8:15pm). I asked if I could speak in English (so I could explain we had been driving all day from the other side of France and had faced unexpected traffic) and she simply barked “NON!”. So in my very limited French said we’d be there in 15 min. In the end there was really no need for any fuss because the key was hanging on the door - so we could have arrived whenever. Also, seriously what hotel closes their check-in at 8pm???
-The pillow cases are so nasty and cheap it would be truly better to sleep on a bag of crisps because they’re made of a horrible plastic that makes your face sweaty and makes an awful sound on your ears.
-The bed has to be the cheapest one known to man and is very uncomfortable.
-The sink doesn’t drain unless you take out the plug mechanism - which makes it impossible to wash swimming suits.
