Rather a good 4 star hotel, definitely not a 5 star hotel.
Pros:

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

Overall, it is a nice hotel but for sure it does not feel or look like a 5 star hotel, it is more a good 4 star hotel. The attention to details seems to be missing, the staff does not seem to have the training to enhance the customer experience up to a 5 star level. I think the marketing of the hotel as a 5 star is unfortunately quite deceiving.

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes und geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon und herrlichem Blick auf den See.
Sehr gute Auswahl zum Frühstück, sowohl Buffet als auch à la carte, dazu Säfte, jegliche Kaffees und Sekt.

Sehr schöne Wellnesslandschaft.

Cons:

Die Temperatur im Pool war recht kühl, die Whirlpools waren jedoch angenehm warm.

Relaxing retreat
Pros:

I really enjoyed the location — it’s quiet while still being close to all amenities. I would especially highlight the staff: polite and attentive, they create a relaxed and cozy atmosphere.

Érkezéskor Anna nagyon kedvesen fogadott bennünket, egy gyors adatfelvétel után már meg is kaptuk a szobákat. A köszöntő ital nagyon kedves gesztus. A szállás tökéletesen rendben volt. Az étterem szintén nagyon jó volt, a minőség, mennyiség és a kiszolgálás tökéletes volt. Köszönünk szépen mindent, bátran ajánlom bárkinek a szállást és az éttermet is.

Die Lage am See, die Begrüßung mit Getränk am Anreisetag, die Frühstückskarte mit den diversen Angeboten.

Cons:

Leider war der Kellner am 30.04. zum Dinner wenig motiviert und selbst von uns als Gästen genervt. Hier würden wir uns mehr Engagement von dem Herren wünschen- immerhin ist es ein 5-Sterne Hotel.

Schade war- aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts, dass man zu Fuß das Hotel nur über die Straße verlassen kann und es keinen Fußweg oder Randsteifen gibt. Auch fehlen bei dem Weg zu Fuß nach Karlsbad durch den Wald jegliche Hinweisschilder. Google Maps war auf Grund fehlender Verbindung wenig hilfreich- sodass wir fast 2 h bis nach Karlsbad benötigten.

I overpaid and was very disappointed the whirpool was not working

The room was comfortable and nice

Cons:

the whirpool was not working and that was the NUMBER ONE reason why we chose the place. There was only one lady at the check in and I had to look for her when we got there. I did not like the location, a little far from the happening place. There was a piercing noise coming from workers across the river and you could not enjoy being outside.
