Nice, enjoyable stay!
Pros:

Great heritage property, located on the banks of Ganges. But if you have elders with you, don’t book this as there are 20-25 steps to be taken to reach the river bank to take a boat. By the way, getting around is mainly by boats operated by the Hotel… free of cost but with some wait time.

Cons:

Getting around could be a bit of an issue if boats don’t operate due to weather or other issues. Happened to me as there was a storm and a boatmen strike (yes! happens in India)…

Pros:

The location is incredible but the property is quite run down.

Cons:

Very run down for the price. I understand is an old building but even mattresses, sheets ans tvs are quite old. I understand is the second best option in varanasi but it really isn’t worth the same money that other similarly prices hotel in touristy locations in India

Pros:

ロケーションとサービス。川沿いで綺麗で、ボートのサービスも有り難かった。

Cons:

タクシーで直接行けない点。その分、ボートで乗り入れるサービスあり、その点は良かった。

Great hotel marred by untrained staff
Pros:

The hotel has a great location and has a beautiful aspect on the Ganges. One of the only hotels that look out over the river and is authentic but modern

Cons:

The staff were sullen, unhelpful, untrained and disorganized. Very unusual in this kind of Property and in India!

Dishonest hotel!!!
Pros:

Location is great.. Food is also great

Cons:

I went in August Monsoon season. I had asked the hotel and they said that it was ok the river was going down.. a good hotel would have said or recommended to visit at a later stage.. Its rained and it was not enjoyable. When I asked if the could refund 2 out of the 5 nights they refused.. Im bnoever going back.. Lack of information.. I could have done something else.

Soggiorno sul Gange a Varanasi
Pros:

Ottimo boutique hotel sul Gange buono il servizio di ristorazione molto curato nei dettagli con sala lettura e sala di meditazione

Cons:

La temperatura della camera era un po bassa e avevano rimediato con 1 stufetta che non funzionava bene.
La colazione prevalentemente orientale

Overpriced
Pros:

We booked a superior room. To reach the hotel you need to take a boat transfer. This didn’t work and we were left waiting in the dark in a shady area. The person who tried to manage the situation was tense und little welcoming. Nobody informed us what the problem was.
Finally after checking into the hotel, we were given a room with molding areas. In front of the windows were arabesque stone grids that felt like prison bars.
After complaining, we were upgraded to a beautiful rim on the top floor, which was very pleasant.

Cons:

Bad reception, don’t book a superior room, it might be low level humid and overpriced.
