Tof hotel met uitzonderlijke inrichting en vriendelijk personeel
Jammer van het treinspoor voor de deur dat toch wel van mijn nachtrust heeft verstoord 😔
De ontvangst en de parking voor het hotel. Ook de kamer was origineel ingericht.
De ligging naast de spoorlijn die geluidshinder veroorzaakte. Hierdoor hebben we niet zo goed geslapen.

Our experience at this hotel was completely unacceptable. Shortly after arriving in our room, we discovered multiple cockroaches. As there was no functioning reception at the time, we had to call the hotel using the provided telephone emergency number. What was particularly disturbing was the initial response: instead of immediately treating the situation as a serious issue, we were asked whether it was “just one cockroach” and were essentially encouraged to consider it acceptable.
A different room was eventually offered, but it was also dirty and unacceptable, so we simply could not consider staying at the hotel overnight. Obviously, we all have different ideas about cleanliness.
We had no choice but to leave and, at around 11 p.m., find alternative accommodation elsewhere.
What happened afterwards was, in many ways, even more disappointing. We formally complained and requested a full refund, including not only the accommodation but also the city/tourist tax and the fee paid for our dog. Despite this, the hotel has failed to return the full amount that was promised. Even worse, communication from the hotel has been extremely poor. We received only meaningless excuses and he hotel tried to justify the presence of the cockroaches by claiming that they were not related to hygiene and had supposedly entered the hotel from elsewhere.
Regardless of where the cockroaches came from, this completely misses the point. Guests should not be expected to stay in a room where multiple cockroaches are present, nor should they have to spend their late evening searching for alternative accommodation because the hotel cannot provide a clean and acceptable room.
The most frustrating part is that the hotel promised a refund but, to this day, the money has still not been fully returned, and communication regarding the outstanding amount has effectively stopped.
This was not simply an unfortunate incident.

De super ontspannen sfeer : ook in Casper. We zaten aan de bar om vervolgens een leuk tafeltje bij het raam te krijgen : super leuk team en heerlijk gegeten.
