The hotel is a lovely space with great history and objects in the halls an corridors.
The hotel is great but unfortunately, there are things that cannot be changed and are out of the hotel's control. It is NOT in the best part of town and next to an area with a drug problem.

La situacion y el edificio
Decidimos no desayunar alli aunque nos hubiera gustado mucho, lo decidimos por las condiciones tan estrictas de reserva, tener que decidir desde el dia antes incluso la hora exacta del desayuno.
Si hubiera sido libre, poder decidirlo en la misma mañana nos hubiera convencido a desayunar alli con toda seguridad

Excellent location for sightseeing, close to the railway station and lots of bars/restaurants nearby. Very quiet hotel though.
Amazing surroundings in a historical setting.
Room very clean, Nespresso coffee machine provided along with bottled water which was really appreciated.
Buffet breakfast excellent choice and set in the main courtyard.
Definitely worth serious consideration if you are looking for a great place to stay in Cadiz. Ignore it being only 1 star in grading.
