Beautiful old hotel with old world charm and character. Central location close to everything with ample outside parking. Bistro was great for dinner too
Good sized room, with good amenities. Was a little too warm for my liking but was able to cool it with the aircon. Other than that no issues at all.
Everything, and I can not state emphatically enough, about Craig's Royal Hotel, Everything, was Exemplary, from the Restored Heritage Hotel Building Outside and In, the Welcome upon arrival, the Accommodation, the Staff, the Breakfast, Everything !!!; I particularly loved riding the functional 'Antiquated' Lift .. .
How could I dare comment in the negative; the Privilege was mine in being permitted to stay a while ..

Pillows were a bit soft.
The classic historical architecture with modern functionality. Great location, clean and friendly staffs. Car park provides EV chargers. Ground floor has restaurant, cafe and gaming room.
The bathroom lights are too dark, there is limited space to put stuff. Being a female, doing my hair and makeup was bit difficult in the bathroom.
Exceptionally poor customer service. Arrived late to be told they wouldn’t set up 2 single beds even though this is what I booked. A security guard had to find us extra sheets and a quilt and we did it ourselves. Absolutely no effort made by the woman at check in to hel.

Amazing place! Loved our room very spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly, obliging and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and cooked perfectly. Parking was convenient and very safe although a big tricky to get our big ute into the 90 deg parks and the back door entrance into the pokies from the carpark was a bit funny! I have always wanted to stay and felt like I should have packed my ballgown lol did not disappoint would happily stay here again.
