Room needed some basic tea / coffee facilities, coffee pod machine ideally considering the higher rate room stayed in. Glasses only.

A true stay with style and comfort.
Pros:

The room and the bathroom had everything you could need and the decor was really elegant. The lobby, the restaurant and the bar were great, staffed by best in their professions. All great!

Cons:

I had booked (through booking agent, not directly with hotel) a twin room but we had to settle with a king size bed. This was unfortunate but not the fault of the hotel.

One of the most classic heritage hotels in all of Australia well worth a stay
Pros:

A classical heritage hotel perfectly located that so many famous people have stayed in with everything you need. Very friendly staff

Cons:

Not much not to like. Heritage furniture and settings a bit worn but you would expect that over time.

The breakfast room was very nice.
The menu is mostly large serves of heavy egg and related foods.
As a light breakfast eater, I ordered toast and spreads. The toast was already spread fairlythinly with a butter/margarine - not sure which. There was one small pack of each of jam, peanut butter, Vegemite.

Cons:

In my room, the lace backing curtain had a quite noticeable tear - 12 cm or so. There was quite a bit of scuffing on the walls and some paint chipped or pulled away, we're a wall sign had been removed. Very disappointing.

Just a one night visit but would definitely stay there again

Very welcoming lady on reception and the character of the building and decor is exceptional. Very comfortable bed and pillows.

Historical but lacking a luxury experience
Pros:

The historical building was really nice. I have been to Craig’s in the past for High Tea and other functions which have all been enjoyable.

Cons:

For the price paid, the unloading of bags on the street and getting to the room was not enjoyable.
Having to call the Hotel for the parking door to be opened is strange and then walking through the pokies with luggage makes the experience feel cheap.

Cons:

Spielautomaten neben der Bar. Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Modernisierung überfällig. Zimmer ‚altbacken‘. Kein gutes Preis- und Leidtungsverhältnis. Für den geforderten Zimmerpreis nicht zu empfehlen.
