El gym muy basico, sin toallas ni espejos. Poca presion de agua en la ducha de tal manera que la ducha superior no funcionaba bien . muy basico los articulos del bano. para 5 estrellas deberian de colcoar pantuflas al menos.

We had our room on the 3rd floor with a River view. The room was laid out very well giving plenty of room to move around.
From check-in to check-out, the staff was great, the breakfast was most enjoyable, and the restaurant had a good menu, the drinks were very good, and the whole complex is relaxing.
We appreciated the security which was around the entire complex.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, el barrio de Puerto Santana esta en el centro de la ciudad, frente al rio, pero lo mas importante es que es muy seguro y no tienes necesidad de movilizarte a otros sitios de la ciudad, porque el barrio lo tiene todo y he aquí donde el hotel toma ventaja. El hotel podrá impresionar a turistas locales o a extranjeros que no han viajado mucho, no a mi que he vivido en 8 países, a este hotel le pondría 3 estrellas comparando con otros tanto en Europa, como en Asia, por tanto es caro para lo que pretenden ser, un hotel "exclusivo". No hay sandalias para la habitación, tampoco albornoz, no hay pasta, cepillos, peinilla, rasuradora, etc. El café que esta en la habitación es HORRIBLE!. El desayuno estuvo bien, no excelente, no hay una gran variedad de platos ecuatorianos ( Ecuador tiene una excelente cocina), muy limitada la elección y algo que denota que no es un hotel 5 estrellas, es que sirven un café MAILISIMO y si quieres café de la maquina que hace capuchino, etc, TE QUIEREN COBRAR ADICIONAL!, cuando el desayuno de por si es CARO!. Debo de admitir que la comida ecuatoriana que comi estaba deliciosa ( falto, por ejemplo, BOLLO de pescado, una delicatesse ecuatoriana ausente en el desayuno). El área de la piscina es de un hotel 3 estrellas, basico, limitado. Un piscina angosta, pequeña, eso si con una linda vista al rio Guayas, el área de jacuzzi pequeño, no tienen el agua muy caliente, un sauna nada impresionante y por todo esto es que muy caro comprar 1 dia de pasar en el hotel ( lo compre para mi sobrino y su enamorada), después de 1 hora es muy aburrido, para incentivarlo deberían hacerlo con un TODO INCLUIDO, alcohol también). En cuanto al personal, todos excelentes, con EXCEPCION de los que hombres que están en la recepción, en todos los diferentes turnos. Su trato NO ES DE LA AMABILIDAD del resto del personal del hotel, incluida las chicas que están con ellos en la recepción, las cuales tienen un trato EXCELENTE.
El trato de los hombres de la recepción, el cual es poco amable, que raya en lo arrogante y pienso que es porque en Ecuador, las personas que trabajan en bancos o recepción de un hotel, se sientes grandotes, poderosos, se sienten en una nube, sin saber que al turista NO LE IMPORTA, NO LE SORPRENDE SU POSICION, AUNQUE SEA DUEÑO DEL HOTEL. Estos recepcionistas parecen policías, quisquillosos en todo, tanto que molesta al turista. El barman, Jose, el que parece que es artista con las manos, es PESADO su trato es " YO SOY EL DUEÑO DEL BAR, SOY EL ARTISTA", cuando lo veía ahí, me iba a los bares de afuera del hotel. Los otros barman, el otro Jose, Daniel, muy amables. El resto del personal de servicio, TODOS EXCELENTE SERVICIO.
