L'architecture et la décoration très vintage mais très jolie, le parking et la forêt à proximité. La literie est confortable, les peignoirs sont très appréciables ainsi que les petites attentions 😊
Pour le prix, on aurait apprécié un petit déjeuner.
Petit bémol la première nuit, mon conjoint a eu peu d'eau chaude en raison des installations historiques de la maison principale, c'est un ballon pour tout le monde 🙃. La deuxième nuit, c'était top !
The villa (actually a condo) was huge, spotless and very well appointed. Nice decor and we appreciated the hardwoods throughout. We did not use the kitchen but there was obviously attention to detail as it was well appointed. We also appreciated the personal welcome note and a few treats. The linens were lovely - fluffy towels and very nice bedding. We enjoyed the common sun deck with the lovely flower baskets. The hotel was also very quiet.
The location is perfect - about a 3 min drive to Qualicum Village and close to the ocean. Michelle (chef and manager) was very helpful
We struggled to close the louvered blinds. Two bedroom blinds were missing the twisting rod used to open and close the blinds. The TVs also need attention. We couldn't get one started but the manager came quickly and helped out.
The TV boxes were slow to load and the sound quality was poor.
We think the large units should be advertised as condos as opposed to villas which we think of as free standing units.

The room my cousin stayed in was supposed to be a garden view room !! The bedroom itself was a good size but NO window (which should have been highlighted) the ensuite had a view of partial garden and roof tops.The room we stayed in was perfect with a ocean view (a few dollars more) We would have NEVER chosen that room for my cousin and was very embarrassing.A disfunctional tea and a croissant were offered as compromise, very poor from a Hotel that has a excellent restaurant .Such a shame as could have left such a better memory Booking .com should also highlight the issue when booking.
The property is well kept and clean and is a significant property with visitors from all over the world dated back to the early 1900s. Lovely staff, incredible cleanliness and generous in the service.

At The CROWN MANSION , we experienced so much more.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warmth that felt genuinely unique. We were welcomed with big smiles, a thoughtful greet bag, and a tour that had us saying "wow" in every direction.
The atmosphere is stately, elegant, and impeccably maintained. Every corner of the property reflects attention to detail.
The library is filled with treasures and inviting spaces to relax, while the gardens are bursting with beautiful blooms.
A stroll through the surrounding forest feels less like a walk and more like stepping into a peaceful forest spa.
Our room was delightful. The attention to detail was evident everywhere, from the decor to the welcoming card waiting for us upon arrival. The delicious chocolates and special treats were a lovely touch, and I absolutely loved the soap provided in the room.
What impressed us most was how every detail seemed carefully considered, creating an experience that felt both luxurious and personal.
We are already looking forward to returning. One night was clearly not long enough, next time we hope to dine as well.

Truly luxurious, beautiful grounds, very historic and sympathetically restored building. Room was super comfortable and service excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was top quality almost Michelin level. Wines great as were the cocktails. Really memorable stay.

The Villas are very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and a comfortable space to prepare your own meals. Liked having in suite laundry. Nice grounds and the walk through the Heritage Forest was great. Had dinner at The Sapphire....delicious!
